Hey everyone!
So the first time I met this guy, I never gotten the chance to speak to him. He kinda attracted my attention because he stood out more than the others and also sat close to me. During our second meeting, I think we had a couple of short eye contact/glances but we still didn't get the chance to talk.
Right after that event, he popped up on my facebook friend suggestion list, so I assumed that it was him and added. Following, that I sent a simple/ friendly message just to confirm that I didn't add any random person. (we concluded with "see you around!")
For the next 3 times that I met him... we never got to say hi or talk... However, the eye contact business did happen more frequent. We were more at an awkward stage. Then I messaged him online and apologised for not saying hi, and also stated that he probably also realised the situations were pretty awkward. However, I did assure him that I will say hi next time.... apart from that, we also had a very casual and chilled conversation online. He sounded like he was excited to see me the next day.
As usual, my friend witnessed him looking at me... so after a friend's support I went up to his group to say hi... but what happened instead... when i said hi.. he turned away with a friend and started their own conversation... Other people that were in the group responded nicely but I was so shocked with his action!
Then my friend dragged me over to this guy and his friend to say hi again... and then we started a conversation. The conversation was very chill and I did make sure that I said bye before I left.
(There were other things such as; his friend's acting a little odd when I saw them..., one of his friend that I talk to literally asked "Do you know his name?" during our third encounter... and during our online conversation he used a wink emoji unexpectedly O.o)
I personally thought he might be interested in me but after that one action where he turned away when I said hi... I am now very confused...
(sorry for the long post >.<)
@chu,
If you want something to happen, you are going to have to be the one to instigate it. You can do this.
@chu,
You said hello. He didn't return your greeting but turned away and ignored you.
You then forced your presence on him, and his conversation became chill...
These are your words given a slightly different perspective.
