Waaaaah!!!! Fooey to this lurking bit. I wanna be there!

I'm out of hospital, recuperating slowly, have lost a cuppla kilos, and most unusually, my appetite! Can't seem to dredge up any interest in food. Guess it won't last long, though.

Have a fantastic time, y'all, from t'other end of the world Sad

I'm sure they'll have a crazy time this evening and I'm so looking forward to meeting up with them (hangovers permitting!) tomorrow lunchtime.

OK, so I managed not to forget my Paul Krugman T-shirt. But I did forget the jacket I wanted to wear over it, and it's not warm enough today to wear the T-shirt alone. So I'll wear dark grey trousers, a very light blue shirt, and a dark grey woolen waist over the shirt. I'm 5 feet 7 high, have dark brown, curly hair, and about half my body consists of overweight. (No, that's not false modesty.) With that, you shouldn't find it hard to recognice me even without my avatar on the T-shirt.

See you later!

Hi, all!

Met McTag yesterday at my hotel near Picadilly.

Got to a pub to a beer, then to another, eating some sharers. He is positively a nice guy!

We spoke essentially about us and about A2K friends. (some gossip) Laughing

Oh. Oh. Oh.... I LOVE the riverboats. <sigh>

Despite my acute envy I am very, very glad that all of you get to meet and are willing to share your fun with us.

Thanks!!!!

Isn't that the truth! The English are always so reserved and
nonchalant about these things....

The New Yorkers were so much faster with forking over informations, pictures and the whole gossip
shenanigans.

I said "the English" - I have not included you Wink

But you could have given more details about the bar hopping
last night. After how many beer did McTag spill the beans?
Where you getting to your hotel on all fours? Did you wake
up in your hotel? All these questions and no answers Mr. Green

I'd be happy to give you the story -- but I can't talk about the part where we gossipped about you behind your backs, and I don't think there was any other part. Surely you understand! As I walked back from the restaurant to the underground station with the other underground-commuters, Dianne exclaimed: "Oh my god, what a lovely group that was!" Replied Dys: "Yeah, except Thomas though." That about sums it up Smile

Dys is a very special guy with a wonderful sense of humour <he kept talking to me about dogs' male attributes, in Spanish, while in the tube>

You wouldn't believe it! Thomas turned out not to be exactly the serious guy you know in political threads.

I found him a nicely extrovert guy.

More comments later.

Re: A Europe A2K Gathering in May 2005
Never thought about going to London just because of certain difficulties such a trip implies for me (esp. the visa requirement). And now it appears that I am going to London as an interpreter for our CFO and will be there from 10-th to 14 of May!

It is hardly possible that I can read all the 80 pages of the thread and I am afraid nobody from A2K people who are gathering there knows me, but is it still feasible for me to join? Or am I too late?
