Added myself as a "definite" - what kind of dates are we talking about.

It would be great to have a big a2k meeting!

Seven "definites" so far; looks encouraging! You Brits need to come up with dates and venues, so we can start planning and making reservations.

Dys and Diane are coming to Europe in May, stay some days in London, some with me [that's why origianally the meeting was planned to happen perhaps here in Germany] and some with Urs.

Would be nice, if the London gathering wouldn't be exactly take place when they just left the UK:wink:

Hi Walter, Why don't you set up some dates and venues first, then we can begin our travel plans. Otherwise, some of us are left in limboland, and we can't make our reservations for the several weeks some of us plan to visit Europe. I wouldn't mind if London becomes the number 2 venue. At some time during my visit in May, I'm planning to visit the south of Italy, and perhaps southern France. I'm also considering a group tour for the same period. It would be helpful if you could tell us which major airport serves your hometown, the name of your town, and where we can get accommodations in the area.

Shocked Eexcellent Christmas presents.

FYI: 2005 Phases of the Moon -- Universal Time

____NEW MOON________FIRST QUARTER________FULL MOON ________LAST QUARTER

____ APR. 8 20:32________APR. 16 14:37________APR. 24 10:06________MAY 1 6:24
____MAY. 8 8:45_________MAY. 16 8:56_________MAY 23 20:18 _______MAY 30 11:47
____JUNE 6 21:55________JUNE 15 1:22_________JUNE 22 4:14________JUNE 28 18:23

Around that time there is a Lunar Eclipse -- April 24 -- but not visible in Europe. Westerners who are going "early" might want to be sure to wait around for that.

Well, c.i., I really want to know dys' and Diane's date at first.

I've posted some data already months back (on the other thread, if I remember correctly.
Nevertheless:

airport is Paderborn-Lippstadt (PAD), with regular services to/from Francfort and Munich (the cheapest, however are those from London and Manchester: 29 € one way, including all  ).

Hotels/guesthouse are here more then plenty, with prices from (3* equivalent houses about 70 € to (more private guesthouse) 30/40 €.

HELLO!.............only the 'brother'! When he was younger (and really into music) he used to 'hold up' in his room, he put a sign on the door saying Devine Davide Recording Studios.........I think that's when our Mum started having 'suspicions' her 'rosary fumbling' certainly increased dramatically after that......he would have been about 13 then. The name just stuck....along with Dav and DeeDay for some strange reason.
