SerSo, I am not one of the people meeting in London, but am posting to let you know this particular London meeting is only for a few days.
However, a number of a2kers live in England, some in or near London, and one or more of them may be happy to meet you if they are able.

For some, Amsterdam is next, and not tomorrow.
Not sure when Clary starts her drive..

Aw, they're going to Amsterdam right after nimh's flown the coop? Too bad.

Thanks for the details, Thomas. I think. ;-)

The update is coming.

We had a wonderful lunch but this time KitchenPete and Tara K joined us in.

I'll tell you how friendly it was!

We just went our way out of Penderel's Oak each one but I'm still with CI in my preferred cybercafe, before joining Diane and Dys for dinner.

dys, Diane and I leave for Amsterdam after two more nights in London. The lunch today was fantastic as was our dinner at the Four Seasons last night. My pictures will have to wait until I get home. Francis, the gentleman that he is even treated me to this internet cafe time.

SerSo, I'll be returning to London on May 13 for my flight home the following morning. Maybe we can set up a meet place and time for the 13th. I still don't have my train schedule from Brussels to London, so I will keep you posted. c.i.

What a marvellous afternoon.

I feel so much more part of A2K now I know so many of the members ... will write more tomorrow as I'm late for a meeting.

I've promised Francis that I'll fall passionately in love with him immediately after I have an affair with the lovely Gautam ..... hope Francis is patient.

McTag and FionaB reporting in- we have just got home here in Cheshire after a four-hour drive from the big city....we had a lovely two days, starting from when I went into the city and met Francis in Piccadilly on Friday evening for a stroll through St James to find a convivial bar...which we succeeded in doing and joined the merry throng inside...it was the May Day holiday weekend and the beer was flowing liberally in some quarters...this is not the same as Mayday! by the way........I really enjoyed making Francis's acquaintance and we got on together like a house on fire....then I went back home (to my brother's in north London) on the Tube, to be joined the next day by my dear wife who came down by train........out again Saturday evening we went to the rendezvous and had a couple of hours in the pub with the gang (Dys, Diane, Clary, c.i., Steve, Ros Mrs Steve, Walter, Thomas, Fiona and I) and from thence via the Central Line (Underground) and the Docklands Light Railway down to the lovely new hotel Clary had chosen for us near Canary Wharf. A very impressive, seriously nice place where we were well looked after and served an excellent meal in luxurious surroundings.

Now my fingers are getting tired and my tea is getting cold so I'll adjourn now and wait for the next instalment.

Greetings to all from McTag
