Please make sure any changes to plans are posted before I leave this Friday morning, April 15, for Malta. I hate drinking and eating alone! LOL

Plenty of ancient history on Malta, c.i., and Medina is well worth a visit. Your hotel/ courier will offer you some excursions. Definitely go to Gozo, I agree with the noble lord.

Gozo Warning:-

DO NOT OVERDO IT WITH THE LOCAL WINE, AS AN EXCESS OF TWO BOTTLES WILL MAKE YOU THINK THAT YOUR FEET ARE ON BACKWARDS.

You have been warned.

Count Dys and Diane in for everything. We'll just follow the crowd, enjoying every minute of it.

I will be staying at my brother's. If he and his wife are available, do you think it would be okay with the rest of you to ask them along to the evening meal?

Out for the count.

What about Graf Zeppelin? Or Graf Spee?

You've got to watch that european nobility. Count Dracula, he's another.

The Prince, your princeleyship

If you read some of the restaurant reviews here there is a chance of some hassle. (Tho' not guaranteed Very Happy )

Have you got any pull with the management? Some of us might be slow eaters. VIPs and all that, international ambassadors.

Read the customer reviews for the Levant restaurant and tell me whether you think we should consider another venue.

Well, those who promoted this might have different experiences?
(Although, there aren't a lot of positive critics online.)

This seems worth mentioning as well:
Quote:
A credit card is required to secure a reservation for groups of 6 persons or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £15 per person
Please note that on Mon - Wed & Sun evenings tables may be required back by the restaurant after 2 hrs for subsequent bookings. On Thurs - Sat evening bookings there is a 2-hr turnaround on all bookings.
Also, this restaurant does not have a designated non-smoking section, so they cannot guarantee a non-smoking table reservation, though they will do their best for you if you mention this upon arrival.
Levant have a £1.50 cover charge per person for fresh bread, pickles, olives and vegetables.
