As certainly have noticed, I didn't give any further comment on that!

Oh, CI had e-mailed me about London several months back, so that's what I had in mind. What about Lippstadt -- when will it happen?

The other weekend: from May 5tn (afternoon/evening) until May 8th (dys and Diane stay most probably a bit longer). (So it's Diane, urs, Clary, dys, c.i. and me so far here.)

Okay, in this case, I'm definitely going to come to London, and maybe to Lippstadt. Whether I'm free on the May 5th to May 8th weekend depends on family, and I won't know it until around the middle of April.

Fine - although the hotel bookings for the others have been made since weeks, there still will be a room and a bed for you here (not only in our apartment but in other hotels/guesthouses as well, I hope).

Thanks! How about yourself by the way -- will you be in London too, or 'only' in Lippstadt?

(EDIT: Never mind, I just saw your response on page 48. Glad to see you in any case!)

Actually I booked my flights to London already on Epiphany

(NB: no holiday here but only in those foreign parts of Germany, where Thomas lives and lived.)

You must admit living in a Catholic State definitely has its perks even for heretics like us. Smile (Background for Americans: I live in Bavaria, a German State whose Catholicism has a famously strong influence on its policies. As a result, we have many more religious holidays here than the rest of Germany does.)

Yup, that's what you socialists get for being anti-religion. Even May 1 falls on a weekend this year. (Explanation to Americans: May 1 is 'labor day' everywhere in the world except in America, which, predictably, has stuck its labor day into the opposite end of the year.)

REPEAT: We are meeting at Penderel's Oak from 12:30PM on May 1. Dys, Diane, and I will be in London from April 29 (I'll probably be arriving late, since I'm flying in from Malta), so we have April 30 open too, although I'm not sure what plans dys and Diane have for that day.

dys, That's one place I always visit when I'm in London, and usually have a meal there too. It's a nice way to watch the world go by.
