Hmmm, poor Dys and I will be surrounded by Socialists! Will our capitalist hearts by influenced by these imfamous characters on a2k? Also, the game of recgnizing the a2kers: we know c.i.; Walter should be easy to identify and, come to think of it, Thomas could be Paul Krugman's twin.....

Francis, with half a handsome face; sweet Clary will light up the room; McTag, with his overcoat and hat and lovely wife, will be easy to spot; KP is a cutie recognizable anywhere; the Prince will enter enveloped in an exotic aura of royalty with a rendition of Stranger in Paradise playing in the background; Tarah, of course, will be the fetching little bear with whip and leather; maybe hot lips Smorgs and hubby, we hope. Who else? Jjorge? ehBeth? Any aussies to be lured to London?? Osso? Virtual Osso??

BTW, Covent Garden sounds perfect. Dys said it is preferable to wait for the elevator even if there is a line. He did the stairs once and has no desire to repeat the experience.

In London, there are no lines, only some queues.

Covent Garden tube (underground train station) can be a bit busy, to be sure.

But the lifts (elevators) are quite commodious (big)

Here's an old joke, come round again:

There were 3 good arguments that Jesus could have
been Black:

1 He called everyone "brother"
2. He liked Gospel
3. He couldn't get a fair trial.

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that
Jesus was Jewish:

1. He went into His Fathers business.
2. He lived at home until he was 33.
3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his
mother was sure he was God.

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that
Jesus could have been Italian:

1. He talked with his hands.
2. He had wine with every meal.
3. He used olive oil.

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that
Jesus could have been a Californian:

1. He never cut his hair.
2. He walked around barefoot all the time.
3. He started a new religion.

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that
Jesus could have been Irish:

1. He never got married.
2. He was always telling stories.
3. He loved green pastures.

But the most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs
that Jesus could have been a woman:

1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there
was no food.
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it.
3. And even when he was dead, He had to get up
because there was more work to do.

Well, c.i. - as far as I've got it, dys and Diane plann(ed) to arrive here on the 6th from Amsterdam.

However, no problem with the Jonathan Hotel: all rooms are now reserved from 5 th till 8th, with options to alter that again

(dys and Diane got their room reserved two more nights - that, too, can be altered.)

Well, I've thought, it would be easier to drive down here on a "Sunday" without lorry traffic than a on a "combined Monday/Friday"

Oh, I forgot: you use those maps with North to the top nowadays. Laughing

(Besides: 75 meters is definately "down" to Balingen.)
