What are some military movies you like, as well as the ones you didn't like?

There wqs a TV miniseries from the 80's called "SHAKA ZULU". Longish, but like Lonesome Dove, it hadda be seen.

I was at a shoe store in Westwood Village, paying for shoes (which? no idea, probably flats) and the store radio reported the news.
I remember walking to campus, start of which was maybe two blocks away. Tears were running down my face, but the people on campus that I passed didn't know yet. I was just a woman crying..

By the time I got into the bio science building, people knew...
