We had ham w/brown sugar glaze & fresh pineapple, scalloped potatoes, buttered corn, green beans w/bacon, croissants, deviled eggs, Greek olives, and for dessert I made an extra-special Strawberry Lemon Cake (my own invention.)
Pueo, I know how to say 'Merry Christmas' and 'Happy New Year' in Hawaiian, but have no idea how one says 'Happy Easter.' Come to think of it, I don't know how to say it in French or Spanish, either, even though I have a nodding familiarity with both languages.

I assume you mean the cake? Will post a picture to the gallery.
It was a plain box lemon cake mix, but I used strawberry "just fruit" spread instead of frosting between layers. Then lemon frosting all over with coconut around the sides & fresh sliced strawberries on top. A sprig of fresh mint from the garden topped it off. It looked great, and tasted yummy! The boys loved it.
Oh it sounds just gorgeous, fruity and lemony and coconutty!
To celebrate Easter, we ate the Easter bunny Sat. night. Braised, soooo delicious. Yup, chapter closed for that one.
