er.... um...
Well, I revived an old online dating thread of mine....
LOL! Don't ask me about "dating"!
I have generally always sort of met 'em - through friends, or study, or life and such - got to know 'em, and started a relationship in a very gradual sort of way, catching up with 'em through whatever means I first did, and seguing into it.
Now I am dating, and damned weird the whole thing is, considering how seldom I actually had to do it in the past! I deal with it by refusing to use the "d" word, and pretending we're just chatting at a party!
I seem to be able to get 'em to talk pretty easily, and once that is done, I sort of relax and forget about the "d" thing.
Deb, you usually get 'em to talk pretty easily????
YOU??? Naaaaaa.....................
Heehee - mind you, I have one who says I talk a lot - but then, so does he...who's complaining...
David Hooks died - RIP
Methinks Aussie bouncers are a dangerous lot.
Hmmmm - not wrong, narelle - I was just thinking about bouncers and trouble.

So he's an adolescent now, perhaps!? America has that effect on people...

So many of them are just thugs!
Yep - sadly I have to second that. I guess we don't know the whole Hookes story, but I am afraid I have a lot of horror bouncer stories....
For those with no idea what we are talking about:

If you're interested go here to see the tributes. I'm shattered.
Yikes, so sad about Hookes....
Deb, I'm glad you're chatting-at-a-party now and enjoying it.
I'm very sorry. Death due to senseless violence, makes it much harder to deal with.
Deb, tell more about your chatting-at-a-party!
Nah - I'd rather digress.....I hate Tuesdays...
In my opinion Tuesdays are generally superior to Mondays.
Why should that be? Mondays happen to be my weekend! And tuesdays my mondays...
I see your point, bigdice. But for many of us Monday morning is the same old Monday morning.
Now, Friday afternoon is generally an excellent time of high optimism!
