People, people! There are enough mounties to go around for everyone!
Thank whoever invented them for fire alarms; the person living in the place next to me had made cheese on toast, and the cheese on toast had gone on fire, and the neighbour only realised when the fire alarm started beeping, and the flames had jumped from her grill to other parts of the kitchen, and the neighbour caled me before the whole place went on fire... and so on. I'm still shaking.
That was a narrow escape, Drom, no damage in your place I hope.
Morning all,
J
Mounties and fires! Such excitement!
Are we all ok????
Yikes, hope everyone is okay!
happy new thingy to you, too, Hiama!
(odd man...)
Yes and quite proud of my odd leonine ways I am too.
Triathlon training going well, I'm so fit I scare myself sometimes.
HIAMA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm scared - but then, I scare easy...
For what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbours, and laugh at them in our turn?

A guy named Fred and his dog and a fire alarm saved one of our places. Antiquated heating fixture had caught a baby gate on fire while we were out of town, Fred was out walking his dog and heard the alarm twice, about fifteen minutes apart, so he called the fire people. They broke through our door and put it out. (Only found out after we moved that the house had previously had two -- not one, but two -- fires... Fred was probably unaware of this. His dog, too...)
Hiama!!!
We miss you when you're not around here, you know.
{{{smooches}}}
HIAMA, I was just thinking of you yesterday.........or was that today? Not sure.
Are you still going to show us your new muscles? I wanna see. How about April? Is April still on in San Francisco? I must get to the gym.
Glad you're ok, drom......
Yeah, I'm OK; thanks for all your considerations, everyone; I appreciate them a lot. My place was untouched; although my neighbour was reading my first draft of the play, and where did she put it? Near the roof of the grill, of course. Still, I don't care about that (it's my unpleasable mother who is going on about it). Me, I'm glad that neither of us are burnt or dead; that is the most important thing.
Patio, I'm glad that your neighbour saved your houise
Seeeeee, I told you if I yelled "Mounties" that he's come running :-)
Mornin' - yawn....
MARGO!!! GO BACK TO BED!!!!!!
