May the tinkling of silver bells and the glitter of tiny eyes temporarily push away all reminders of arthritis for the joyful folk who attend here.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

And may I share my fondest hope for the coming year....

that the knuckle-walkers from the Pentagon will have a sparkling epiphany about what it is they are really up to, and henceforth cease using terms such as 'closure' and 'proactive'.

Blatham, my friend, this is absolutely the best, most thoughtful Chistmas wish I've heard! And personal, too. Yes, Please! (although your next one rings a bell, too!)

It's Christmas here! Is 4.30am too early to start making Merry! (What if Merry doesn't want to???) I couldn't sleep.

Even Possum is asleep - talk about "not a creature is stirring"!

He's going to be rudely awakened soon to go and open our presents under the tree.

At 4.30am, it's already hot and sticky here. Top expected temp is 38 C - (around 100 F in the old money!) Bushfires already to the south! Soon, I'll shut up the house and turn the aircon on.

Merry Christmas, all! (or chose appropriate seasonal greeting !)

If Santa Claus should chance to go
Through country roads adrift with snow,
And see all huddled softly down
Wild little rabbits, warm and brown
He'd think what lovely living toys
To give the nicest girls and boys
And by their beds he'd like to leave
The bunnies cuddled, Christmas Eve. Very Happy

--Emily Rose Burt

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

'Tain't where flutter is - anyway, ALL eyeballs flutter - very fast - 'tis called saccadic motion - and, since our retinal cells and brain respond to CHANGE, it stops us from becoming blind to an image. Heehe - glad you commented?
