Man, I had a whole list typed out with ranks and all. My browser ate it.

To summarize:

fbaezer for Commander in Chief
georgeob1 was a general and so was fishin'
and I also had Walter, steissd, mysteryman, Lusatian (with the special mission of using tact, nuance and diplomacy to soothe relations), roger, and cjhsa (he was a private so that he could do a lot of shooting).

Wait wait wait.
I get two of the most intelligent Conservative generals in a mostly Conservative army.
I also got steissd, Lusatian and cjhsa, all with a lot of real military experience. They wouldn't trust a person whose military service was simply NOT SERIOUS.
Was misteryman also a soldier?
I bet even Walter's military service was better than mine (we had 33 1933 rifles for a platoon of 400 conscripts Very Happy ).
And weren't we supposed to fight each other?

I ain't gonna be no Commander in Chief.
Not even if the cyber-demiGod says so.

(Actually, I'm thinking about Liberal Cook Ossobuco's rabbit cacciatora, but don't tell anyone)

(And Gautam, have you seen Walter's pics in a sailor's uniform?)

He had seen me in person.

Did I ever tell here that I always got "no military attitude" under my exams and reports? (Obviously, they didn't follow my argumentation that I was in the navy and not in the military  )

Eva that's Gus on the right in the second picture, or maybe it's his evil twin, hard to tell.

Heh. I think I'll join Gautam's mystery job ...

I mean, the armies seem to have lots of men and women of interest, so Gautam needs some help to, you know, fully cover the enemy group.

I've heard some of these Conservative women have great ... information.

Do I still get to seduce Lash? I'm a lover, not a fighter. Maybe I could be an infiltrator.

And I'll bring my 10,00 men, as long as there is to be no marching up and down hills. I nearly had a revolt on my hands after that business the last time.

You're a cook, Cav. Leave the spy work to the spies.
