I live in student hostel and I have a crush on a cute receptionist that works there. I tried to strike up a convo here and there but i cant talk to her longer since she is at work. she is very sweet and a friendly person. I know that its part of her job to be friendly so I cant really tell if she is interested or not . so how to tell if a receptionist is interested? i wanna invite her to a dinner to get to know her better but i am hesitant because I dont want to cause her trouble with management and I dont want to sound creepy? any suggestions out there ?

That's your line. Simple. She might tell you she's not allowed to date residents or is afraid for her job, or has a boyfriend (or girlfriend) already. Please respect that.

She might tell you, not tonight, how about tomorrow (or some other date)? Then great! Or, she'll say yes. Smile
