I'm slowly digging my way out of the hole. I'm gonna make a push for a late season comeback.

Get use to that everybody. I'm good at picking football.

Perhaps he's finally using the brain Gus bought for him -out of pity- during last year's football pool.
The kid's average week was about 4-10.

Tampa Bay - Whay the heck... they're on a roll
Seattle - flipped a coin, seattle was heads
Green Bay - I'm surprised to see all the GB picks. Favre looked good last week and won't lose 5 in a row.
Chicago - D and a running game
Baltimore - Come on... It's Detroit
Atlanta - Could NE's dynasty be over?
Tennessee - I need a big week from McNair for my fantasy league
Miami
Indy - Manning is just warming up
Carolina
Wash - I'm going with Washintons D to contain the Snake
Philly
Jacksonville - I don't know why I picked them

Monday night:
San Diego (42) - Brees is looking good and never forget LT

Oh my, Child, Are you going to let fbaezer get away with this seemingly scurrilous comment. He even mentioned your name with gus' in the same sentence. (Johnboy, of course, is not trying to provoke a foodfight between fbaezer and child. Johnboy would never do that. heh, heh)

Cool. Ten of yall in already. But I do sometimes find myself feeling like I'm picking up after a two year old. How many points, el-diablo, in the Monday night game?

I still need predictions from bbaptiste and gus. And el-diablo needs to fill in the score of the tiebreaker. Panzade can be counted on to post around one hour before kick-off.
I was intrigued by the discussion about bookies and point-spreads that went on earlier in the week. We pick here "straight up." Which team wins the game. If you have an opportunity tommorow, pan, please tell us what the bookies were offering an hour before kick-off. No hurry, of course, we are playing by the regular rules.

about a half hour until the first games and johnboy is on tetherhooks trying to bring in pan and gus and bbaptiste and el diablo's prediction of the number of points in the Pitts-San Diego game. (for many years I thought the word was tenderhooks).
Hurry, hurry, hurry.
