@Frugal1,
Doesn't matter. They were here first. You really don't understand human migration, do you.

@cicerone imposter,
Are you now claiming that there is no exception to your previous claim that there is an exception?

@Frugal1,
There are always exceptions as it relates to human actions. Where did you get your education?

Trump statement: "To be clear, this is not a Muslim ban, as the media is falsely reporting."

@Frugal1,
You are ignorant. The bans are against all Muslim majority countries. That's not an accident. Trump is a ignoramus in many ways; it's unfolding in front of everybodies eyes.

Canada said they will welcome Muslims to their country. Trump is a dangerous child xenophobic.

Trump’s Faulty Refugee Policy Comparison

By Eugene Kiely

President Donald Trump defended his sweeping immigration policy by calling it “similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months.” That’s a faulty comparison.
There was a delay in processing Iraqi refugees in 2011 after it was discovered that two Iraqi refugees living in Kentucky had been involved in roadside bombing attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq. One of the refugee’s fingerprints were found on a detonation device in Iraq, prompting U.S. immigration, security and intelligence agencies to use federal databases to rescreen about 58,000 Iraqi refugees in the U.S. and more than 25,000 Iraqis who had been approved to enter the U.S., but had not yet been admitted, Department of Homeland Security officials testified at the time.
The Kentucky case not only caused a backlog in processing Iraqi refugees in 2011, but it also resulted in an overhaul of the refugee screening process.
The Obama administration’s actions were limited to one country and in response to a specific threat — the potential for other Iraqi refugees to take advantage of a flaw in the screening process.
By contrast, Trump ordered a far wider ban — albeit also temporary — without identifying a specific threat

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump threatened in a phone call with his Mexican counterpart to send U.S. troops to stop "bad hombres down there" unless the Mexican military does more to control them itself, according to an excerpt of a transcript of the conversation obtained by The Associated Press.

The excerpt of the call did not make clear who exactly Trump considered "bad hombres," — drug cartels, immigrants, or both — or the tone and context of the remark, made in a Friday morning phone call between the leaders. It also did not contain Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto's response.

Still, the excerpt offers a rare and striking look at how the new president is conducting diplomacy behind closed doors. Trump's remarks suggest he is using the same tough and blunt talk with world leaders that he used to rally crowds on the campaign trail.

A White House spokesman did not respond to requests for comment.

The phone call between the leaders was intended to patch things up between the new president and his ally. The two have had a series of public spats over Trump's determination to have Mexico pay for the planned border wall, something Mexico steadfastly refuses to agree to.

"You have a bunch of bad hombres down there," Trump told Pena Nieto, according to the excerpt seen by the AP. "You aren't doing enough to stop them. I think your military is scared. Our military isn't, so I just might send them down to take care of it."

@edgarblythe,
This president makes the military a mockery. I instructed my son to enlist into the military, because he had so much sloppy living habits when he graduated from college. He stayed in for 12 years and made the rank of Major. He's now working for the University of Texas in Austin to earn retirement benefits. He served two TDY's in Saudi Arabia, and one in South Korea.
If a Trump was president back then, I wouldn't have instructed my son to join the military.

@cicerone imposter,
I don't knock others for doing that. We each make the decision on our own and I would not seek to interfere.
