Sentence transformation

The task is to rewrite the sentence so that the second sentence has exactly the same meaning. The word "done" must be used.

7. The shop was closed for a week while they decorated it.
done

While it...................................the shop was closed for a week.
The correct answer = was being done up.

Hello,
What if the assignment was: "The shop was closed for a week while they were decorating it."
Would the "correct answer" be the same ? Thanks for your answers.
