True democracy is mob rule. Like when people are lynched or stoned to death. Just what we need.

True democracy would allow for the incarceration of crooked politicians even if they are presidents or their families. I dident vote for a king. In a constitutional republic we are all SUPPOSED to be citizens but in our brand of government we still have royalty. Their called miltimillionares and billionaires. We have a government that can be improved hugely.

How? Do you think before you post? That statement is truly idiotic. Laughable.

@RABEL222,
He waits up 'til the early hours for the bittersweet feeling, satisfaction in knowing he's one of the first to read Trump's toilet tweets, tinged with jealousy for the toilet. What's a lump of porcelain got that he ain't got anyway?

@RABEL222,
The only problem is that the American voters got Trump into office even though Hillary got more votes. Racism has been in this country for too long, and we're still living it. That only proves bigots and ignoramuses are too numerous even in democracies. Trump's history of racism, lies, scamming and cheating on all his wives should have been self-destructive, but it didn't. Our country has a long ways to go before we can truly be called a democracy. The definition of "democracy." The political, legal, and moral equality of every citizen is a fundamental value of democracy. These aspects of equality are summarized in the idea that there can be no second-class citizens in a democracy. Thus, according to an old adage, “each is to count for one and for no more than one.”

I disagree with you because you are wrong. I know that is hard for a brainwashed useful idiot to absorb, but keep trying.

@cicerone imposter,
It used to be one vote per citizen. Since the republicans took over it is one vote per citizen but s corporation has unlimited votes. We no longer have the government the constitutional convention set up. We have government by the Koch brothers and Russia.

@roger,
I meant to say a. And corporations have millions to give politicians. Who do you think politicians will pay the most attention too. My $50 or corporations millions. Our democracy is not one. In a democracy it would one person one vote. And don't start that crap about being a constitutional republic.

@RABEL222,
Money talks in any language; Logic 101. It's not even about right and wrong. I wrote to Diane Feinstein not to approve the war in Iraq after the US stopped the UN Weapons Inspectors for WMD's. She said, with the information they have, she had to approve the war. The US started the war and looked for WMD's that were never found, and we ended up killing innocent people. Even our politicians are often wrong that ends up killing innocent people. It's frustrating, because we are helpless. Unless you have millions to give to their campaign, they will not listen.

You better get your pencil out again to write a letter to her about Iran that Trump is trying to force into a war so he can be elected in 2020.

@RABEL222,
As I have said, we are helpless. Writing, I have learned, is useless. I'll let the younger generation take over our politics and who they elect. I believe they have more information and intelligence.

@RABEL222,
The Rule of Law trumps "True Democracy"

If it didn't, the streets would be running with blood.

You and CI have incredibly high opinions of yourselves.

You believe "this," and he believes "that," and if the government doesn't act on this or that it's a sign that it is racist, corrupt, or tyrannical.

You don't want true democracy, you want your opinion to govern.

You'll have to forgive us since I don't have the massive inteiiagence you think you do. I just look at the facts and base my opinions on them. Not what his majesty Trump tells me to believandIm sure Lush Limbaugh would tell you I am a stupid liberal believing facts after Trump informed me they were false news even before they were news. Now go away and live in your alternate universe.

You could have just said they are self-righteous fools that think depriving Americans of rights somehow makes them better people. Misguided and self defeating.
