@Leadfoot,
I would love to have layman back and posting. He had a lot more substance than most people gave him credit for.

@roger,

@glitterbag,
Layman behaved as a total cretin 99% of the time.

@Olivier5,
Ah, you’re just pissed because he's the all time thumbs down champ.

Yes, layman pissed off people. Like Socrates and JC, you make people think about uncomfortable things, they silence you. I'm beginning to understand why they didn’t resist.

@Leadfoot,
He never pissed me off. Layman made me laugh. I exchanged with him more than most here, we had long discussions about relativity and other topics. I know him well, for an online aquaintance. He could not understand Galilean mechanics, let alone Einstein's. He was way beyond his depth on anything scientific. Better in philosophy. I liked the way he ridiculed the 'meat puppets', aka those who think of themselves as biological automatons.

Edit: and thanks for the laugh about comparing him with Socrates and Jesus. That's priceless...

What do you think of yourself as, if not that?

@Leadfoot,
I think of human beings as agents capable of taking decisions based on experience, observation and emotional and rational intelligence, not as a bunch of pretetermined and senseless meat machines.

Uncomfortable people often use laughter to cover it up.

@Leadfoot,
Is that why you likened Layman to Jesus Christ?

If you could build into it an awareness of the world around it, self-consciouness, emotions and creativity, yes.

OK. So why the bias against it being implemented 'wet' , i.e. - self aware meat sack ?
