You aren't going to like everybody you meet, even in an ion storm or on the internet. When people disagree with you, hold your head high and give your view(s). After that, if they want to be toadstool remnants, that's their thing, no reason for you to lob snark, sarcasm and scarab paste at them. You'll find some who are nice and some who aren't...welcome to life!

Seeing Lola back in the coffee shop made me think of Spendius - how I miss him. Wish we had some idea of what's happened to him.

I found the phone number, via an old address book of mine, back in a corner. Now, when to use it, maybe noon? introduce myself to his wife if it's she that gets my odd call (he knows my voice and vice versa), me still being hard of hearing. I hope not to disturb them - I still remember stories by Diane and Dys about how wonderful their group meeting was, Dys and Diane, John and Luchi. Ok, I admitted his first name is John. So are many people's. He and I mentioned her name before on a2k, but were fairly spare using it.
I worry.

For anyone who didn't know or forgets, he and I met at the Phoenix airport in front of the soda machines for something like fifteen minutes before I had to get in line for the next plane; mutually glad to meet in person.

Reading over the first ten pages of this thread can be quite an experience. I had forgotten most of what was posted.

Yes, and so frequent and visible were his posts that his absence was immediately noticed.

When my wife and I visited Toronto, probably around 2004, Cav prepared a meal for us in their home that matched the wines with the food. It was a very memorable event in our life.

I remember, he had just won some kind of contest in food preparation.

I think he changed his name, but I don't remember which was the last I saw..
hope he is doing well.

Happy and active on FB. Playing a lot of bike polo and he's just taken up parkour again.

Yes! Or, yes, I think. I know he changed names at least once before a fade away from here, but Diest TKO is how I most remember him.

Looks like Camlok /JTT got a time out again. Not that I miss it. It was quite a troubled individual.
