Letty, I had the procedure about 3 years ago. What a godsend it was, too.
It's not even surgery really, the doctor just vibrates the offending film away with a little tool that looks like something the dentist would use to remove plaque.
You'll be overjoyed when you get your full sight back. Osso knows I was.

Art Blakey used to play in San Francisco when I was a young kid living in Sacramento. I took a girlfriend to listen to him with a couple of drinks, and she slept all the way home. Good ole days, them was.
