North Korea has nuclear weapons and a leader who seems to be mentally ill and has threatened several times to nuke us. He is aggressively pursuing missile development and the last I remember hearing, his missiles were capable of traveling about 600 miles. We have the following choice. We can either let him improve his missiles until they can reach us or we can stop him before that occurs. I think it would be madness to let him develop the capability to kill millions of our citizens in one blow. It is like being in a room with a crazy person who says he wants to kill you and is in the act of loading a gun. You can either let him have the means to kill you or stop him before the gun is loaded. Right now, Kim Jong-Un cannot reach us with missiles. In a year or so, he will be able to. I think that we cannot let him develop the means to drop nuclear bombs on us. It's one thing for a country that has bad rulers who are sane and risk averse to be able to nuke us. It's quite another thing when it is madman who has even referred to nuking us.

I've no doubt what-so-ever that there are some pretty bloodthirsty Christians who consider themselves devout. It's the same with all other religions.

What I've never seen is a Christian (of any stripe) talk about a bloodthirsty Jesus.

China reportedly sent 150,000 troops to North Korea's border

Amid a productive phone call between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chinese state-run media reported that 150,000 Chinese troops went to North Korea's border.

In March, Business Insider talked to Sim Tack, a North Korea expert at Stratfor, a geopolitical-analysis firm, who speculated how Chinese forces could stop North Korea's nuclear program without firing a shot.

Chinese forces in North Korea would "be in a position to force a coup or force Kim's hand" to disarm, Tack said.

Ultimately, China, North Korea's biggest backer, would attempt "to make sure North Korea still exists and serves Chinese interests while it stops acting as a massive bull’s eye to the US," he added.

Besides its possible troop build-up, China also seems willing to apply pressure to the Kim regime in other ways. Last week, Beijing ordered its customs authorities to reject coal imports from North Korea — a big hit to the regime's wallet, since coal makes up about 40% of its total exports.
