Which color would that be, my skin color or how I address issues?

Definitely the latter. But it's how you don't address issues. But you are in good company there, 'good' being a relative word.

It is censorship. Instead of opting to just not be a viewer, they want other people to also not be viewers or to support them in any way.

Can you say" stunning hypocrite", McGentrix?

As far as you have shown to date, only in your propensity to swallow and advance the most preposterous propaganda. So, it's not too much of a stretch at all to believe that you wouldn't go whole hog.

@McGentrix,
Hey, why did McGentrix get 2 thumbs down for that. It was a good retort. I'm sure blatham would appreciate his wit. He seems a fair fellow.

One back up for you, McGentrix.

Yet we have a duty, as humans, as citizens, to grow past such immaturities. And certainly not just for the sake of the community but for the sake of our own capacity to change our minds and include others less fortunate in how they were born.

Yes, we most certainly do, blatham. That goes far beyond just we citizens to include all humans.

I do appear to pique her irritability. In fact I'm a nice guy. The rest is her problem, not mine.

What does that mean? Either way my comment about what he/she wrote stands, unchanged.

@georgeob1,
I can vouch for you being a "nice guy." The one time we had a a2k meet in San Francisco impressed me with your humor and friendliness. You're a fun guy to socialize with, and look forward to more.
I just wish you would treat doctors more respectfully. Wink

@revelette1,
Quote:
But what did the president mean by letting Obamacare fail on its own? Health care experts say that his comment may allude to conservatives' belief that the market will become too expensive on its own-- and the fact that the White House is already taking actions to undermine the individual mandate.

Without the mandate, there would be an imbalance between sicker and healthier people, causing premiums to climb. Healthier people would drop out as a result, and that would drive up premiums further. This process is known as the "death spiral."

Since the Democrats were too chicken to ever crack down with a real individual mandate to begin with, what difference does it make if Trump doesn't enforce it at all?

I done learned my lesson.

Years ago I had been hunting and fishing all day, but still only managed to bag enough to feed my girlfriends and our 37 children.

Then I was overcome by a powerful hankering to be seen as a morally superior person, so I took all the animals and passed them out around town.

The thanks I got was well worth my children going starving.

Or so I thought. But when I got back home they all attacked me with baseball bats, brass knuckles, broken beer bottles, lead pipes, and anything else they could get their hands on.

I aint never gunna do that again.

@layman,
Did your children attack you with baseball bats, brass knuckles, broken beer bottles, lead pipes, and anything else they could get their hands on because you beat them or because you normally starved them?

As was Churchill, Thatcher, too, in a manner of speaking, right on up to Blair, but that didn't stop them from committing crimes against humanity.

@camlok,
Well, it wasn't completely clear what all their motives were.

I do remember Alice, who was always particularly skilled and adept at going upside your head with a cast iron skillet, screaming at me: "Layman, you dumbass sumbitch! Aint you never heard that charity starts at home!?" Last thing I heard, for a good long spell, actually.
