@ossobucotemp,
Probably the photo they intended, and what do I know. Maybe Mennonites in Pa are different than in NW New Mexico.

@gungasnake,
Malik Obama ( an avowed supporter of President Donald Trump) retweeted a copy of a forged birth certificate. (In 2009, a man by the name of Lucas Smith sold the same forgery on eBay.)

@roger,
Ask Bernie, he's mentioned his mother before (a nice Mennonite lady) who drove his brothers fancy pants car to the market wearing a big smile.

And you're right about fooling people.

@georgeob1,
this EO had nothing to do with abandoned mines. It is for Active mining sites, so please dont attempt to dismiss with evasion.
It was the Water Quality egment of CWA, not 404 or "Navigable Waters" TOTALLY SEPARATE ISSUES.

@glitterbag,
Anabaptists have several "clades" of Mennonites in Pa and Ohio. The Conservative Mennonites are more like AMish but they are a small minority of the Anabaptist sects. Ill bet its like 80% of the Mennonites who drive cars, use all conveniences and are "Tied to the world" with cable TV, Amish and Conservativ Mennonites will schew things like cars and tv and gric power. (Although they will spend lots of nergy and cash to build their own elctrical gnerating facilities for their houses and farms. They will use electricity as long as it is home generated.They have phones but not in the house. They will build a "phone booth" between several farms and install as many separate lines as they need so they can have a phone number for thir farm businesses. (There arean equal number of Amish nd Conservative Mennonites that are tradespeople rather than just farmers)

@farmerman,
We have an Amish Market open on Thurs. Fri. And Sat. I bought a cake some years back, and the young gal pulled a box out of the fridge and I asked her had it been frozen. Her eyes got wide and she looked aghast, and I was temporarily embarrassed as if I was accusing her of some sin.........but she did pull the cake out of the fridge. I suppose we all adapt.

@glitterbag,
It very simple Th conservative sects are NOT anti technology, they are PRO community. Bing so mans that face to face communication is the way decisions are made.
ALSO, each bishop has a district in which HE is able to do a certain amount of interpretation and modifications to th Ordnung.

Im amazed at how high tech the new AMish buggies are , with solar power roofs to charge the lithium batteries , and disc brakes and ride leveling shocks. Miniaturiztion has mde tech available to them .
Thir houses use "Amish solar units" which will power LED lights.

THere will come a time when the creeping technology will make their life styles pretty much indistinguishable from ours.

I live among the AMish and am always jalous of how they spend really big money on computer interfaced tools (like CRC machines and laser saber saws). Most youngr Amish trdesmen are literate in WINDOWS for pattern cutting and pre measuring beams and planks for construction.

I believe there have been a number of executive orders rolling back environmental regulations, so reference to a different executive order is probably legitimate confusion as opposed to deliberate evasion.

I haven't really paid a lot of attention to the executive orders apart from gun issues, so I can't offer much illumination regarding the differing orders though.

Right Rog. You can convince a man of almost anything, except the fact that he's been fooled.

Like, who knew, eh?:

Study: Hillary Clinton Ran One of the Worst Campaigns in Years

A new study by the Wesleyan Media Project has found that the 2016 presidential campaign run by Hillary Clinton is without a doubt one of the worst-run political operations in years.

The study also backs the view that Clinton’s focus on identity politics and emphasis on condemning her opposition contributed to a campaign message devoid of substance with no clear message on policy. “Team Clinton’s message that Trump was unfit for presidency was not enough.”

Published in The Forum: A Journal of Applied Research in Contemporary Politics, the study found that one candidate in particular, Hillary Clinton, “almost ignored discussions of policy.”

Nice try, cheese-eaters.

Clinton's only message, the wrong message, was "I aint Trump." Of course not. Had she been, she would have won.

If Hillary Clinton knew what was coming, she would haul pantsuit right now.

Tomorrow Jeff Sessions will present the arrest warrant he has prepared to a federal judge for a signature.

They might pick up Bill and Valerie Jarret while they're there, too, ya know?

One law for those who spout neo Nazi division and hate, and another law for the rest of us. Btw, I'd appreciate it if you didn't quote him, I put him on ignore for a reason. It's not like he actually brings anything to the conversation, he can't even keep track of the lies he spouts.

The FBI investigated a Trump server in its Russia probe, but no charges are expected

The months-long FBI counterintelligence investigation into Russian efforts to influence the 2016 presidential campaign briefly investigated a computer server tied to Donald Trump's businesses near the end of the election but has not gathered evidence of election tampering to date that would warrant criminal charges against any of the president’s associates, Circa has learned.

U.S. officials said there is widespread frustration among intelligence professionals who have watched in horror as a normally secretive process has been distorted by media leaks and politicians uneducated about how counterintelligence operations actually work.

“The (Trump-Russia) narrative in the media hasn’t been our primary focus and mostly involves pieces of information that came in incidentally. We check them out and we move on,” one official said, adding most of the work has involved old-fashioned investigative tactics and not surveillance.

Added another official: “I’ve never seen a case so misrepresented and leaks so damaging to a process that was meant to be conducted in secret so that foreign powers don’t know what we know and people’s reputations aren’t tarnished unfairly.”

The officials also strongly disputed that the FBI’s intercepts of conversations in December between soon-to-to-be U.S. National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were part of a continuing Trump-focused national security investigation. In fact, they were part of a long-established special intelligence program in which the FBI is routinely permitted to review intercepts of Russian embassy officials.

Separately, they used traditional investigative techniques to review a computer server tied to the the soon-to-be-president's businesses in Trump Towers in New York but located elsewhere.

The towers are home to Trump’s business, personal residence and then-campaign headquarters.

Best I can remember, no one has even tried to answer any of the following questions that I've asked about this wholeTrump/russia fake news "issue." It's never been more than some vague, guilt-by-association, speculation about....what? It's like the cheese-eaters think that if you can work both the words "Trump" and "Russia" into the same sentence you have established overwhelming grounds for impeachment.

Can anyone answer the following questions?:

1. Is it illegal to try to "influence the outcome of an election?" If so they best prohibit all campaign contributions and all campaign activities, PERIOD. Both Trump and Clinton, with their respective posses, spent months trying to influence the outcome of the election. Should all debates, all speeches, all websites summarizing a candidate's positions, all TV ads, etc., be outlawed because the are intended to "influence the outcome of an election?'

2. Is is somehow illegal to talk to russians, to have money in russian banks, to visit russia, or to own a business (like say a newpaper like the NYT) that has sales in russia and/or that russians can buy if they come to this country?

3. Is it illegal to hire a russian (or an Indian, or a Chinaman, etc.) to assist with your campaign. If a candidate wanted to hire a Brit, who is, or was, officially connected to the British government, and who was internationally renowned for his brilliant campaign strategies, to help with their campaign, would that be tantamount to "interference in our elections by a foreign government?" Would that "destroy our democracy?"

4. If some Chinaman came up to Hillary Clinton and offered to give her information about Trump that might help in her campaign, would it be illegal for her to even listen to the info? If so, then why was her campaign paying huge sums to collect information from putative russian intelligence agents and then distributing that "information" to every media outlet and congressman in the country?

Trump was in russia once. IMPEACH the bastard. NOW!

What is it that Trump was supposed to have done in connection with russia that was illegal? I've never heard anybody even say what it might be, let alone provide even a scintilla of evidence in support of any such claim.

Last Friday, sometime between 3:00 and 3;05 A.M., three people were shot to death in Groom, Texas.

If Trump did it, he should be in JAIL. We must investigate Trump's involvement in this murder NOW!

I don' think congress or the FBI is gunna drop everything to question Trump about this muder, know what I'm sayin?

But, if they did, then they would at least have some specifified illegal act to focus on, unlike the "Trump talked to Russians" crap.
