Trump hits Obama (falsely) over Gitmo

President Trump used Twitter on Tuesday to again bash predecessor Barack Obama — this time in a false claim about Guantanamo Bay prisoner releases — and to promote the release of the new House health care bill.

Trump said that "122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama Administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield. Just another terrible decision!" However, more more than 90% of those detainees were released during the George W. Bush administration, not that of Obama.

The tweet appears to be a response to reports of a military strike in Yemen that killed a fighter who had been imprisoned at Gitmo.

A report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said that of the 122 Gitmo detainees who returned to the battlefield, only nine of them were released after Obama took office in January 2009.

BOMBSHELL: Josh Earnest Just Threw Obama UNDER THE BUS Over Wiretapping Trump Tower

On Sunday, former press secretary for Barack Obama, Josh Earnest, appeared on ABC’s “This Week” to discuss the wiretapping allegations made against his former boss, and his answer isn’t going to sit too well with Obama.

At first, Earnest tried to claim that the reports about the wiretapping were “false,” in keeping with the Democrat narrative since President Trump first tweeted the accusations.

However, it didn’t take long for him to change his tune, and when he was asked to “categorically deny” that Trump Tower was under surveillance, his answer spoke volumes.

“Here’s the simple answer to that question, Martha,” Earnest finally answered. “I don’t know..."

Officials from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement aka ICE conducted raids in at least 6 states this week, arresting illegal alien criminals in a major sweep that gives us a glimpse into what’s to come under a “law & order” Trump administration.

The raids took place in Georgia, Illinois, New York, California, and North & South Carolina. Illegal criminals were arrested at their homes and workplaces. Immigration watchers say that raids also took place in the states of Florida, Kansas, Texas and Virginia.

ICE officials told NBC News that 200 criminal illegals had been arrested in Georgia and North & South Carolina.

Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Gillian Christensen told the Post “We’re talking about people who are threats to public safety or a threat to the integrity of the immigration system.” The majority were guilty of serious crimes, including murder, according to the spokeswoman.

Either way he doesn't have the courage to address the truth of the matter, and instead resorts to this **** to distract his audience.

It must be very comforting not having to think for yourself or rely on evidence and facts. Fantasy is so much easier than reality.
