So Texas' Attorney General is literally asking the Supreme Court to throw out the results of other states' presidential elections, set aside the millions of votes cast in states that are not Texas and have other state legislatures make Trump president.

@snood,
That is what I meant. They’re not going to threaten those who can fight back, just family homes with children.

I’m not saying they don’t pose a threat, a similar threat to the character of Bob Ewell in To Kill a Mocking Bird.

If you’re right, months from now we’ll all look back and laugh at the feckless buffoons, stomping about brandishing guns and shouting threatening slogans.

If I’m right, people will be injured and killed and there won’t be anyone laughing about it, or apologizing for it either, for that matter.

I’m really hoping you’re right.

@snood,
Trump is a demagogue with scant regard for human life, and that is having, and will have an effect.

I think any violence will be sporadic, I don’t think they have the wherewithal for anything else.

Video: GOP Rep. McCarthy Claims That He Has A Signed Letter From Arizona Legislators Invoking Article 2, Section 1 Of The United States Constitution Which Means That We Have A Contested Outcome In Arizona

Quote:
Republican members of the Arizona State Legislature had an election integrity hearing on Nov. 30 that included President Donald Trump’s lawyers Jenna Ellis and Rudy Giuliani.

Giuliani, Ellis, and others held a hearing in front of Pennsylvania State Republican senators on earlier, where they argued that the state legislature should take steps to reclaim the ability to appoint electors to the Electoral College. Witnesses who claimed they saw allegedly illegal or irregular vote-tabulation efforts in the Keystone State also offered statements.

According to GOP members of the Arizona State Legislature, the hearing is designed “to gather the evidence that justifies calling a special session to contemplate what happened and take immediate action accordingly.”

“We are pleased that the State Legislatures in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Michigan will be convening hearings to examine the November 3rd presidential election,” Ellis said in a statement provided by the GOP lawmakers.

Meanwhile, like some GOP senators in Pennsylvania have said, the Arizona lawmakers noted that the U.S. Constitution grants state legislatures the power to hold election hearings on alleged irregularities and fraud.

Yesterday GOP Rep. Daniel McCarthy dropped a real bombshell around midnight.

He claims to have a signed letter from Arizona Legislators invoking Article 2, Section 1 of the United States Constitution which means we have a contested outcome in Arizona

We have a contested outcome in Arizona.

Gee, that means those electors will not be chosen until this settled..

Trump supporters are not violent. The violence comes from the Democrat brown shirts known as BLM and Anti-Fa.

I seem to remember cj telling us that the "smartest man in the room" was right on top of this stolen election scandal. But, as with every other "fact" she's presented here, it just hasn't worked out in reality. Looks like Dr. Kershavarz-Nia deserves a new nickname, maybe "most over-confident man in the room"?

As they say “if you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.”

This is far from over.

Oh, you must not have heard what 45 said at his latest “rally”...

He would be a very gracious loser - if he lost.

@coldjoint,
From what I can find, this press release was put out before it was decided that the state legislature would close for the week.

Because I cannot find any record of a joint statement made yesterday at 3:45pm local time. I checked House Majority Leader Petersen's Twitter feed, and he didn't post any video or tweet related to the press release.
