Nice try, but Farmerman's claims are as phony as always. I wasn't even replying to anything you said.

Next time you should look for yourself instead of automatically assuming that Farmerman knows what he's talking about.

5. No DEM ever said that they woiuld "bring back coal"

Theres many many more.

Maybe if they had the courage to speak their minds one might be president.

@oralloy,
I dont have to pretend or announce anything or brag about a pointless unproven life. Youre a sad case . You actually believe the **** Trump speaks to you. That alone refutes those conceited (but funny) claims common on your behalf.

Then why do you keep doing it?

Wrong again. I don't listen to politicians, so therefore they don't say anything to me for me to believe.

I doubt that's true.

Progressives were pretty nasty to McCain except for specific moments when he was stabbing his fellow Republicans in the back.

farmerman wrote:

Mr. Trump never did that.

farmerman wrote:
3.No DEM made obscene gestures making fun of a handicapped reporter

That's not an issue that I'm familiar enough with to provide my own assessment.

However, I've seen others say that it isn't true, and they are far more trustworthy than you are.

farmerman wrote:

I'll give you that one, but the phrase "So what?" springs to mind.

farmerman wrote:
5. No DEM ever said that they woiuld "bring back coal"

I'll bet that one's not true either, although I'm not going to go looking for quotes.

So why are you wasting your supposed intelligence here,

Inertia perhaps. There used to be a lot more intelligent progressives here.

There are actually boards where the quality of intelligent discussion far exceeds that of a2k these days. Unfortunately they are also highly active. I can go to a thread and see an outrageous gun control argument posted, but there is no need for me to bother replying because 30 other people have already posted the same argument that I would have posted.

a2k posts at a rate of speed that is better suited to the amount of time I want to contribute to posting my thoughts online.

That said, who says that posting here is a waste?

Rebelofnj wrote:
instead of writing editorials and opinion pieces in a news outlet?

I've never thought about that before. It sounds like it might be more work than I want to commit to though.

With a2k I can post about whatever I feel like talking about for as long as I feel like talking about it. If I don't feel like talking about something for awhile, I can go do something else with my free time.

With a2k I'll never have a newspaper editor breathing down my neck because he wants my weekly contribution on "subject X" when I really don't feel like talking about "subject X" at the moment.

@farmerman,
People like you are quickly banned from the more intelligent websites. There is no need to counter lies about my intelligence because there are no such lies. Instead there is actual discussion of issues.

And note that countering your lies about me is not bragging.

I don't mind disagreeing on others (it happens on a regular basis since people see me as too liberal or too conservative at times).

However, you in particular just keep repeating the same Outlaw the Democratic Party line, word for word, regardless if it fits the current discussion.

If you truly have a high IQ, then you are wasting your potential here, instead of just joining MENSA.

Don't you know he's a "stable genius"? Just like Trump told everyone once in a 2am tweet.

@oralloy,
He could do that. But keep in mind that when he assumed the presidency he can get rid of all the assets kisser and put real prosecutors on the payroll and start investigating Trump and all his crooked players. They might even get around to you and cj. I still believe you both are paid Russian provecators.

This is why it is important to outlaw the Democratic Party. That will put an end to these abuses of power to harm anyone who doesn't toe the Democratic Party line.

@coldjoint,
It's extremely disheartening to see so many individuals lack trust and assurance in our election process. What's the kicker part is the the fact that ONE republican in PA has been arrested and ONE postal worker has now admitted fabricating ballot tampering.

Sure, there ARE going to be SOME irregularities, but not enough that the word "stealing" is appropriate in any measure.

Quote:
Longstanding Justice Department policy has been to prohibit such investigations until election officials in each state certified their results in order to ensure there is not interference from the federal government.

States have until December 8 to conduct recounts or resolve election-related lawsuits, and the Electoral College will meet December 14 to formally select the presidential election winner based on last week’s voting.

Bob Bauer, attorney for the campaign of former Vice President Joe Biden, said in a Monday statement it is “deeply unfortunate that Attorney General Barr chose to issue a memorandum that will only fuel the ‘specious, speculative, fanciful or far-fetched claims’ he professes to guard against.”

“Those are the very kind of claims that the president and his lawyers are making unsuccessfully every day, as their lawsuits are laughed out of one court after another,” Bauer said. “But, in the end, American democracy is stronger than any clumsy and cynical partisan political scheme.”

Was it also disheartening to see the Democrats lynch Mr. Trump over fabricated Russia nonsense for four straight years?
