Trump is currently dealing with several lawsuits, varying in severity, and it hasn't really affected his duties as President on a daily basis.

Being sued isn't quite the same as being investigated for impeachment. Independent prosecutors will be able to hobble the Biden Administration quite nicely. They might even be able to force some suicides or break up some marriages from the stress.

Plus, I don't think Trump can afford 4 years of constant litigations AND setting up a 2024 campaign.

Mr. Trump isn't going to be facing 4 years of constant litigation.

It is very unlikely.

Not at all. Winning after four years of a do-nothing Biden presidency will be just like winning after the do-nothing Obama presidency.

Republican Party: Membership (2020) Increase 33,284,020

Party membership numbers don't mean much.

Clinton lost to Trump because many Dems thought that election was a lost cause for Trump and a Clinton's victory was secured, so they were too lazy to vote. The four-year Trump's rule tortured them and they already become very alert, eager to vote him down.

After four years of a do-nothing Biden presidency, 2024 is likely to be much like 2016.

As far as the election goes, I see a range of potential outcomes:

a) Trump is reelected and my prediction is correct. 20+ years of Republican rule.

b) Trump is reelected but my prediction is wrong. A Democrat will win in 2024.

c) A repeat of Ford/Carter/Reagan. Trump loses election due to the witch hunts. Biden is a weak president in the wake of the witch hunts and will be defeated in 2024 by a strong Republican. The Republicans hold the White House from 2024 to 2036.

d) Biden is elected. There is no 20 year period where one party dominates. He will serve eight years and then another Republican will be elected.

e) Biden is elected. The Democratic Party holds the White House for 20+ years.

I think "E" is unlikely. Mr. Biden is not revolutionary enough. You only get 20+ years of rule by the same party if you elect someone revolutionary like Jefferson, Lincoln, or FDR. My prediction of 20+ years of Republican rule was based on how revolutionary Mr. Trump is.

"A" and "C" seem to be the most likely outcomes IMO.

Yes. It looks like we're in option "C".

Read the Costitution about running a felon for any Fed Office

Outlawing the Democratic Party will put an end to their never-ending abuses of power to harm people who they disagree with.

Mark Kelly wins Senate seat in Arizona. That means as of now the Senate is up for grabs now with 2 runoff seats in Georgia in January.

We can put a stop to these abuses of power by outlawing the Democratic Party in America.

@oralloy,
I’m sure the House will pass that law and of course Biden won’t veto it.

You’re predictive abilities are amazing...

@maporsche,
True. My prediction abilities are pretty good overall.

Yours aren't. Why would you think the bill would be passed by Democrats?

@oralloy,
Neither Obama Adminstration did do nothing nor Biden Administration will do nothing. Take FDA and CDC, both enjoyed extremly high esteem around the world, especially in scientific community during Obama times (in Obama times, the U.S. was greatly respected by the world); but Trump ruined both (He ruined America too - many people around the world think that America acts like a third world during Trump times). Biden will restore them in the coming four or eight years.

@oralloy,
You did say Trump being reelected, followed by 20+ years of Republican rule, was a likely outcome.

Also, why keep saying a political party would hold the White House for 20+ years, when that is very rare to do?

The last time that happened for 20+ years was 1801-1825 when Democratic-
Republicans Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe held office.
The next longest control was in 1897-1913 (16 years), when Republicans William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt, and William Howard Taft held office.

@oralloy,
I didn't make a prediction - I said "I'm hoping"

Quote:
I'm hoping that with the MUCH more favorable map in 2022 that Democrats will indeed pick up seats

You must understand the difference, right?

How ironic, tRump who has disparaged the late John McCain and the late John Lewis is now trailing in both Arizona and Georgia. Two political giants whose legacy may deal tRump’s presidency it’s fatal blow.

Don't forget his disparaging of Joe Biden from Scranton, Pennsylvania! Of course, he's not dead 😀

Rebelofnj wrote:

Actually I included Mr. Trump's presidency as the first eight years of that 20 years.

Rebelofnj wrote:

Because it usually happens when a President makes revolutionary changes to a nation. And Mr. Trump was trying to make revolutionary changes.

That's also why I'm excluding Mr. Biden from any possibility of leading off 20+ years of Democratic rule. He's not about to make any revolutionary changes.

It looks to me like we're in option "C": Nixon/Carter/Reagan.

You're missing Abraham Lincoln and FDR.
