House committee to subpoena DeJoy for 'withholding'
documents from Congress

During DeJoy's testimony last week, the Oversight Committee requested documents on the
changes made to the postal service that caused widespread delays across the country by
August 26. According to a statement from the committee, no documents were produced
and two days after the deadline, DeJoy sent a letter to the committee that said, "I trust
my August 24 testimony before the Committee on Oversight and Reform clarified
any outstanding questions you had..."

Maybe they can get the documents the FBI is withholding involving Obama's spying on the Trump administration while they are at it.

It has to do with a reality in America that’s only disputed by people like you who somehow feel threatened by any suggestions that discrimination and oppression because of skin color exist and affect people of color everyday.

Nice strawman, you've built there, snood. I have indigenous heritage myself, and know all too well the ramifications of historical race issues, both in the US of A, and here in Australia.

My question was directed at farmerman, seeking explanation about not being proud of being white.

I directed a question to you a few pages back, asking for your explanation on the "carnage" created by your president.

You didn't answer.

It's almost like you're thinking this whole mess we're seeing in the US of A at present, is Trump's doing/fault. That's what I'm seeing.

NPR Claims That Calling A Riot A “Riot” Is Racist

Desperation time. They have to stop all discussion about the riots so they use the racist card hoping no one will tell them they are full of **** because they do not want to be called racist.

It does not work like it used to, and I bet that pisses them off.

Black Man Arrested for Hate Crime After Stabbing White Man While Screaming ‘Black Lives Matter’

This story is 3 days old. I saw nothing on network news. Why? Hate does not come in colors. Someone needs to tell the networks to start reporting all the news not just what they want you to hear.

White House suppressed coronavirus reports and downplayed virus, House panel says

1. The House Select Subcommittee on Coronavirus published eight weeks of state coronavirus reports, which are prepared by the task force and sent privately to governors.

2. Each report contains data on confirmed cases, testing, the mobility of a state's residents and more for every state.

3. The reports directly contradict optimistic messaging pushed by President Donald Trump and other administration officials over the summer, the Democrat-led committee said

For christ's sake, will you ever learn how to effectively deal with information sources that aren't in your comfort space? Show us where the findings are wrong. Show us where the interpretation is skewed. Explain why the Trump administration acted as they did. Defend them. Just ignoring inconvenient facts is lazy, simplistic, and an obvious sign of bias.

In the June 23 report, the task force privately warned seven states that they were in the "red zone," indicating a severe outbreak. On June 16, though, Pence wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed that the "panic" over a resurgence of the virus was "overblown."

Is this false?

Quote:
On July 5, the task force warned that 15 states were now in the red zone, adding that Florida "has seen a significant increase in new cases and a significant increase in testing positivity over the past week continuing from the previous 4 weeks." But two days later, Trump said "we've done a good job. I think we are going to be in two, three, four weeks, by the time we next speak, I think we're going to be in very good shape."

Are you saying none of this took place?

Quote:
On Aug. 9, the most recent of the newly published reports, the task force warned that 48 states and the District of Columbia were in either red or yellow zones. On Aug. 3, Clyburn points out, Trump tweeted that "Cases up because of BIG Testing! Much of our Country is doing very well. Open the Schools!"

Was it a good idea to call for schools to open? Do you think testing is the problem?

No it is not. The panic is, and has been overblown. We now know Covid 19 by itself has killed less than 10,000 people. The virus was politicized by Democrats and media to get Trump. Another failure and the Democrats and the media(and you) are bitter and desperate.

No, "we" don't "know" that. You believe it but you haven't provided one serious scientific or widely-respected medical finding which backs up the accounts you read in the right-wing sources to which you limit yourself. And, just for the sake of argument, death isn't the only negative outcome of this pandemic. People becoming severely ill, put in intensive care, out of commission for weeks, and not fully recovering for months has real life consequences to our economy, to workplace productivity, and to families and communities in general.

Always one to give credit where it's due, looks like Dr. Trump may have been onto something:

Doctors Spray Chemo Inside Abdominal Cancer Patients

Quote:
The experimental cancer treatment is called "pressurized intraperitoneal aerosolized chemotherapy (PIPAC)," and it starts with putting abdominal cancer patients under general anesthesia.

Surgeons then make two small incisions in the patient's abdomen, insert a pair of tubes, and pump air into the abdomen, causing it to inflate like a balloon. (Weird, right?)

After that, they spray an aerosol chemo through the tubes, all over the interior of the inflated abdomen. This coats the tumors without opening up the abdominal cavity, which is invasive and dangerous, while using a minimum of the harsh chemicals.

The surgeons wait half an hour for the chemotherapy to seep into the patient's tissue and then vacuum out any excess droplets.

No reason they couldn't do this with disinfectant, right?

@hightor,
None of the patients died from the virus but COVID-19 played a role in 100% of the deaths.

I don't know what is noted on death certificates in the USA. But here, you get the main reason of the death on it plus the various other illnesses the patient had had.

If certain people would understand data, they could notice that there were only 6% of the cases of COVID-19 that did not have any other reported comorbidities.

It has always, repeatedly, been said that people with other underlying health conditions are at higher risk of complications and death due to the coronavirus.

By the way, 100% of all people die of cardiac arrest.

@Walter Hinteler,
The former Australian prime minister – and possibly soon to be joint trade president for the UK – Tony Abbott, said in a speech in London that maybe the coronavirus had done the world a favour. (Tony Abbott: some elderly Covid patients could be left to die naturally.)

Another "good" idea.
