@coldjoint,
Trump may not be responsible for the very firt ones but he did NOTHING but make atoken gesture in travel banning on country while we found out that Europe was the major conveyance point . Then his several months of poo-pooing and misinformation and disinformation and making believe he even knw what the hell he was talking about.
he is responsible for the most of the deaths. After all we still hve the highest death toll of any country and he is such an asshole that he believes Testing "causes" covid.
Donald Duuhh.

He banned travel from China very early on. The travel from Europe came later. Rewriting history does not work.

Put peeled potatoes in cold water and a little lemon juice and they won't turn that color. Cool

@coldjoint,
Kudos. After years and hundreds of posts you've finally made a
Constructive one even if it's only about potatoes.

@coldjoint,
youve made my point. The early covid was coming more through Europe more than China, so his token China fetish was barely noticed in the rapid growth of the pandemic as it spread so quickly in the US cities where international travel included many more countries than just china

1.He downplayed it annd was obstructionist in the first quarter

2. H ignored much advice from folks who know better

3He was touting chemicals , many of which violate the Hippocratic oath in their use without safety protocols

4. He just lied to protect his ass by saying his 'handling of the pandemic" was superlative.

5. He is betting that our entire population is made of fools

6. ALL THE ABOVE

The same time the Democrats were saying the same things. Biden's medical experts said do not wear masks and this will not be a pandemic.

That is a lie. One taken out of context, and another about a drug that was politicized while some people died Trump was right about.

I do not know what more could be done. Blame killers like Cuomo, not Trump.

The fools are the ones not voting for him. And the way the Democrats talk to their constituents you can see who thinks Americans are fools. You ain't Black. You're all racists. You have no empathy if you do not back Communists. C'mom man.

@coldjoint,
1 I believe that through all this TIME of pestilence the president was the fat felon TRUMP, am I not correct on that??
HE WAS THE ONE making policy.

2 Trump in a press conference turned to his medical team saying"we hear that disinfectants injected into the body coulld be a game changer.
Funny because TRUMP, by politicizing the HCQ issue actually stalled research and actually had a bunch of non cooperating studies onHCQ were finding different results. Only recently has a possible connection with HCQ (at very low doses) may reduce morbidity in covid patients who do not carry co-morbidities. Im sure Trump will take credit for the sunrise should these new studies show promise.
He is still the "Lets not test so much" guy, and the "IT IS WHAT IT IS" leader.

3. Im not gonna argue the facts , you are basking in his fat shdow and believe the crap he speaks. REMEMBER hes a born liar.

4.Cmon man? Fools always think that they have the hand of a god on their side, Id rather have Pennsylvania . I just want a decent president who will work with our allies, cares about the majority of the citizens, isnt a racist pig like 45, and isnt out to destroy the constitution for his own profit. Only one guy running cares about the above and thats Biden.

Biden is a corrupt and senile politician who cares about what he is told to care about. Who has a record of racism.

After the conventions I am not worried about Biden winning anymore. The Democrats have already lost the election.

Putting Biden up tells me they'd prefer another four years of attacking their president, hoping to keep their own arses out of prison.

Actually, Trump speaks mostly just to his base...the people who kiss his ass no matter what he does. Insofar as they are the people to whom he directs most of his attention...he is correct. THEY ARE FOOLS.

Trump is an abomination...and cancer on our country not unlike the cancer Hitler was on early 20th century Germany.

If this disgusting, incompetent, classless boor manages to gain re-election, we Americans will have earned all that we get as a result.

Our generation's only job is to preserve and protect the Republic for which we have short, temporary custody.

Let's get our **** in order!

Fact check: Trump made dozens of false or misleading claims last night

Trump is a serial liar and he serially lied during his speech accepting the Republican nomination.

CNN counted more than 20 false, exaggerated or misleading claims from Trump on Thursday night.
That's in addition to a number of falsehoods from other speakers.

Trump's dishonesty touched on a range of topics, from the economy to his administration's performanc
during the coronavirus pandemic. Some of Trump's most egregious false claims were directed at
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

@Region Philbis,
Trump's incendiary speech against Biden was brimming with untruths - but was possibly effective.

Effective for those, who like his "programme" for re-election: a fictitious vision of America, full of untruths and open lies.

The "trick" is, to put a candidate worth voting for. That's about all I can advise.

There is such a person now...in Joe Biden. The Joe Biden/Kamala Harris ticket will create an administration to handle (as best as it can be handled) the disgusting mess the present administration has created. It is not going to be an easy task...not by a long shot, but they will give it their best effort. And that is all I can ask of them...of anyone.

People who think otherwise are kidding themselves as much as supporters of Trump are kidding themselves.

@Builder,
As we have little individual control over the choice of a candidate — we only get to cast one vote — we often end up with a person we didn't support achieving the nomination. The "trick" is to look beyond the person at the head of the ticket and consider what a candidate's cabinet and White House staff will look like and how, as president, he will employ them to work with Congress to implement his agenda.

Hope you notice my comment while you were posting. Obviously we were thinking along similar lines here, Hightor.
