@hightor,
Quote:
But a simple intuition had propelled Trump throughout his life: Human beings are weak. They have their illusions, appetites, vanities, fears. They can be cowed, corrupted, or crushed. A government is composed of human beings. This was the flaw in the brilliant design of the Framers, and Trump learned how to exploit it. The wreckage began to pile up. He needed only a few years to warp his administration into a tool for his own benefit. If he’s given a few more years, the damage to American democracy will be irreversible.

More projection. It was the Obama administration that believed and acted on those things. It becomes more clear with every document declassified. The Atlantic has less than 600,000 subscribers. That that many people believe this crap is disconcerting but certainly not insurmountable.

Ex-FBI Officials Confirm in New Report: They Included Dossier in Russian Interference Report Because of Obama Order

It gets better and better.
Quote:
According to new bipartisan report released by the Senate Intelligence Committee, former top FBI officials confirmed that they included the Steele dossier in the Intelligence Community Assessment about Russian interference because of an order from then-President Barack Obama, despite the fact that it was unverified and not vetted.

Not good. For Obama. His legacy might be one of sedition and disregarding the Constitution's call for a peaceful transition of power. This report makes Obama's hostility public.

Blatham commented earlier on Evangelicals not helping. I proved him wrong. Here is some more on it. It counters the lies you might have heard.

The Left’s Message to Samaritan’s Purse: You Cannot Be Christian

Quote:
It would be one thing if Samaritan’s Purse refused to treat a gay man. Or mocked a trans-identified individual. Or discriminated against a lesbian needing medical care. But none of that has ever happened.

Instead, this massive, Christian humanitarian organization which serves each person alike is getting blasted by the left for one reason only. Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian organization which employs Christian workers and which believes in the historic teachings of the Bible.

Joe Biden owes his nomination, if he gets it, to Jim Clyburn, black women, and Obama.

Clyburn and his black voters are going to be pissed that Biden’s Veepstakes is 100% white.

The Khive’s already buzzing.

Basically, the US has the two worst possible humans making the most possible political mistakes to see who is hated less.

Murrika!

Seriously? He's got it outright, right now.

Explain how that works? He's practically swept the primaries, even Bernie is behind him!

Name a couple of Biden's worst mistakes. He's going to name a woman VP on May 1. Count on it.

@bobsal u1553115,
He requires 700 additional delegates to win the nomination.
He will be in hot water with the voters who brought him to this dance if he rejects black female running mates.

@Lash,
that's a silly argument. Mitch McConnell could have pulled a Bernie, switched parties, and run as a Democrat.

@coldjoint,
As you may have noticed, evangelicals have co-opted Christianity for their own purposes. If you don't interpret the bible as they do, you're not a Christian, and there re a hell of a lot of christians who think they're wrong.

@coldjoint,
the senate committee disagrees with you. Obama was the last sane president. If trump should win, we probably won't have a country in four years, and trump will be our last president in the steaming wreckage he leaves behind.

There are some black people who feel that the only fair choice for Biden’s veep has to be a black woman. There are other black people who see Liz Warren as a reasonable choice. But you can bet your last money that on November 3rd, 2020 there won’t be large numbers of black people sitting home and not voting against Trump as a result of whoever Biden chooses.

We ain’t stupid.

@snood,
Considering you voted en masse for the architect of the crime bill, a man who doesn’t know his wife from his sister, and the guy who berated Anita Hill to get Clarence Thomas on the bench, I disagree. You’d have done better to shoot yourselves in the collective foot. That would’ve at least healed.

@Lash,
He got this one cold. He's got 1,305 votes right now, I think he's got the super delegates, too, don't you? He only needs 1,991 total, so he needs only 600 more in a race that he's the only one running. You don't think he'll win these being unopposed and all?

Its his.

He will name a woman VP. I'm betting on Kamala Harris. Maybe Amy Klobuchar. Long shot: Stacy Abrams.

Who in the world could possibly take it away from him??????

Any other candidate would cause enough confusion and resistance to give us Trump. Again. Don't waste your vote and give it to Donnie Two Scoops. Hold your nose and vote for Biden. There's no way in Hell he'd screw up as badly the Orange Shitgibbon. At least Biden has real experience.

I had to look to be sure, but out of the 4.4 million voters who voted for Obama, but stayed home for Hillary, a third were black.

Just sayin’. Biden should go black for Veep. Clyburn was his kingmaker, and he told Biden he owes it to the community. Only a fool would disagree.

The king can make you and the king can bake you.

@bobsal u1553115,
You seem overwrought.
And Biden is hidin’. He should be using this opportunity to show leadership.
He’s in the throes of dementia. I doubt he makes it to the election.

I’m trying to figure out the elderly vote.

I old, on SS and VA, I'm fighting cancer:

"So how are you voting, Bobsal?"
"Not for that jackass Trump who wants to cut my SS and my VA and leave me to fight cancer with no insurance. Not for the jackass Trump who's said I need to die for the economy, which is a ******* faulty proposition on itself. Not for that jackass Trump who got his cronies to pass a huge tax break for those who don't need it saddling my grandchildren with taxes to pay for it for the next 30 years at best. Don't get me started."

Satisfied?
