Same old living bull shyt. One would think you would change the wording of your stock reply. Or are you taking a page from the Russian play book that states if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth?

It's normal for people to rally around leaders during crises. If Trump hadn't changed his tune and was still claiming that covid-19 was just seasonal flu and would miraculously go away I doubt his approval would be as high as it is — but there would still be people who would approve because that's how people are. 51% is hardly the sort of overwhelming endorsement you'd expect, though — after 9/11/01 Bush II had 91% approval.

The number is higher for his handling of this crisis, and 51% is enough to comfortably win another term.
