@oralloy,
I disagreed with W Bush, felt he allowed an unjustified war to commence and war crimes committed on his watch. Yet, even so, Trump is a whole nother thing that almost defies description. His administration is destroying the branches of government and how it has run successfully for decades no matter what we as a nation were going through or who was leading it. Not to mention being a complete waste of a human being.

I ain't in the mood to argue over it. It is what it is.

Good grief.

David Masciotra is a hack that writes for the very biased Salon. He is to be roundly ignored. His article is just more projection from a losing ideology.

Earlier in the week some guy named David Masciotra writing at the failed group blog, Salon, garnered a lot of attention and page views for himself and his employer by trolling the internet via a diatribe titled You don’t protect my freedom: Our childish insistence on calling soldiers heroes deadens real democracy.[/b]

An example of his work. Clearly an un-American POS.

When we get a great leader like Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Donald Trump, they tend to remake the government so that it can better address our nation's needs in the future.

You republicans can squeak all you want about crooked investigations. But if Trump don't win the presidency he, his kids and about half of his staff are going to jail for all the crooked crap they have pulled off in his 4 years of trying to dump the constitution and replace it with a royal dictator.

Sorry, but no. We have a system of courts in this country. You have to actually prove wrongdoing before you can send someone to jail.

A majority of Americans in new Monmouth poll say the House should not call John Bolton and should end the Ukraine investigation (51%) and also end all investigations into other possible impeachable offenses (52%) as well.

Since the impeachment inquiry is over, the House has no authority to call Mr. Bolton as a witness at this point anyway.

@Setanta,
It's apparent you have reading comprehension issues. The Three-Fifths Compromise was in regard to legislative representation and taxing issues as regards the House of Representatives. Madison was referring to the appointment of an "Executive Magistrate," and whether it should be done through popular vote or electors.

AG Barr Sues “Sanctuary” States After Announcing “Significant Escalation”

Quote:
“Let us state the reality upfront and as clearly as possible,” Barr began. “When we are talking about sanctuary cities, we are talking about policies that are designed to allow criminal aliens to escape. These policies are not about people who came to our country illegally but have otherwise been peaceful and productive members of society. Their express purpose is to shelter aliens whom local law enforcement has already arrested for other crimes. This is neither lawful nor sensible.”

Of course, he is right. How many more 90 year old women have to be raped and killed? Anyone have a number?

@oralloy,
Not if you have a crooked republican senate to front for you. It was proved that Trump did the things the house impeached him for. Proof the senate was a crooked republican body was the fact they refused to call witnesses. They dident want any more facts because they already had more than enough to convict. Hell, all they needed was the movie of Trump publicly asking the Russians to find hillerys e mails.

Not that there is any reason to think that Mr. Trump did anything wrong, but even if he had actually committed some terrible wrongdoing, the precedent that the Democrats set with Bill Clinton would had justified not convicting Mr. Trump of anything.

RABEL222 wrote:

Proving that he did it doesn't overcome the fact that there was absolutely nothing wrong with him having done it.

The Senate is not a place for progressive witch hunters to go on fishing expeditions. If the House didn't have all their evidence gathered, then they should have kept gathering evidence instead of impeaching.

White supremacist? No, a crazed hater from the Left, inspired by their rhetoric. Someone who has decided violence is the way to beat Trump. Unfortunately he is not alone.

That's terrible. What's even worse is that Sanders offered to pay his legal fees and Warren described him as 'a fine person.'

Oh wait...

You are perpetuating a lie. The people Trump called fine people were people protesting a historical statue coming down. You do not erase the past of your country. As for the legal fees, Trump has a sense of humor, something sadly lacking in his opponents.

But you have given your country away to Islam so what the **** do you know? Next.
