voters will recognize that the Senate has engaged in a massive cover up

In a nation so deeply divided along red/blue lines, an equal number will see what a pitiful show the Schiff/Pelosi "team" really are.

The polls are showing this clearly.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.

When the court (in this case the Senate) dismisses the charges because you have no case to make against the accused, that's not a cover up. That's justice in action.

The Senate is not a place for progressives to engage in fishing expeditions against people they disagree with. If the Democrats did not already have evidence of actual wrongdoing, they had no business impeaching in the first place.

No he didn't. He complied with every single court order. If the courts did not compel someone to testify before Congress, then it is proper that they did not testify.

and blatantly tampered with witnesses

If so, that's OK. The Democrats established with Bill Clinton that it is OK for presidents to do that.

@glitterbag,
They found him not guilty on all charges.

And clearly the Democrats were not able to produce any evidence of any wrongdoing.

What they have achieved, is exposing their whole "Ukraine is a money-pit for the kids" scenario. That's why they were so vehement in their accusations and attempt to ouster their president.

Pelosi's son, Biden's son, and Schiff must have his fingers in that pie as well.

Here is the crap Democrats want passed. Who here can agree with this? They want this country overrun by illegal criminals.

Quote:
H.R. 5383: New Way Forward

Quote:

Conviction of aggravated felony

For purposes of clause (ii) of subparagraph (A), section 241(b)(3)(B), or any other provision of this Act, only an alien who has been convicted of an aggravated felony for which a term of imprisonment of not less than five years was imposed shall be considered to have been convicted of a particularly serious crime.

Quote:
Decriminalize Migration
Sec.601.

Repealing migration criminal laws
(a)

Criminal penalties for entry at improper time or place

Section 275 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1325) is repealed.
(b)

Criminal penalties for reentry

Section 276 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1326) is repealed.

This bill will decriminalize border crossing and make deportation nearly impossible. In fact the bill says deported felons can come back and we have to pay for it. This will destroy our society. To think it will do anything else is ridiculous.

I saw this on Tucker Carlson but my link is to the bill. Read it and remember a Democratic majority will pass this ****. Notice there has been nothing on the MSM. They do not want you to ever hear about this until it is too late.

@McGentrix,
Oh dear, I've never had you on ignore...I made an error in judgment.

The reality is I have a number of dolts on ignore, but I do look every once in a while...................I really shouldn't, and I think you know why.,...

You might not have anyone on ignore....and that's just dandy with me......................I'm not sure about you, but I still read a lot of newspapers, still active with various retired Intell orgs....and every once in a while I like to see what the Fox News audience is swallowing...

But I wouldn't say 'I proudly ignore', I know, yes, that you do, but you assume it's a partisan notion....or elitist or some other bullshit ...but for me it's more of a matter of maintaining sanity..I can only indulge a certain amount of horse crap before I need to stop....maladjustment and social ills are the job of social workers and I'm not a social worker ....... I don't know what you did for a living, I actually don't give a hoot.................work is work, it's necessary to support our families, and to support our nation and all the other local and state institutions...

I'll assume you think your job was an honorable way to support your family......I think that's correct...you seem like a nice man...maybe you resent a few others....but then again, who really cares......a few trolls are going to be delighted with your 'attempt to put me in my place'; hardy fuckin har.....why would that even cause me any discomfort????? But keep up the fruitless effort....who knows, maybe on some distant day I will actually giver a crap about what you think or feel.....

An Airbus A320 with 172 passengers on board made an emergency landing in Russia-controlled Khmeimim Air Base after Syria's air defence nearly hit it because of Israel's air raids, Russian state news agency RIA said on Friday citing a Russian defence ministry spokesman.

The flight en route from Tehran to Damascus narrowly escaped "the lethal zone of artillery fire" as the Syrian air defence forces were trying to repulse an Israeli attack near Damascus on Thursday, RIA said.

"Israeli General Staff's military operations in air using passenger jets for cover or block of response fire by Syrian missile systems is becoming a typical trait of Israeli Air Force," the spokesman said.

According to the spokesman, after 2am local time (00:00 GMT), four Israeli F-16 fighter jets struck eight air-to-ground missiles in the suburbs of Damascus without entering Syrian airspace, RIA reported.

"Only thanks to prompt actions of dispatchers at Damascus airport and effective work of the automated system of monitoring air traffic, the Airbus-320 was escorted from the danger zone and assisted in successfully landing at an aerodrome at the Russian airbase Khmeimim," the spokesman said.

Syria war: UN warning of 'humanitarian catastrophe' (01:35)
Early on Thursday, the Syrian defence ministry said Syrian air defences intercepted Israeli missiles over Damascus that were fired at military targets in southern Syria including near the capital.

The attacks by Israeli warplanes were launched in two waves, one near Damascus and another near Deraa and Quneitra provinces, it said.

The Syrian air defences downed a large number of missiles but the attacks had caused material damage and injured eight "fighters", it said, without specifying their nationality.

The Israeli military declined to comment.

Israel has carried out repeated raids in Syria since the civil war erupted in 2011, mainly targeting government forces and their Iranian and Hezbollah allies.

Israel's political leadership has spoken publicly of the bombing campaign, although the army rarely comments on individual raids.

More moral madness. Trump violated constiution the separation of power plus bribery and witness tampering. Hardly a fair trial when mitch McConnell goes on determined to make sure his party votes may before the trial even starts. Total sham absolutely total. We knew it would be and it was. Vote the whole corrupt venal gop crew out in nov.6

@MontereyJack,
If only there was a viable candidate to unite behind. The trouble is, democrats can't afford to vote for Sanders at a time when most people are not worried about their financial security. In that case, why would voters who are not really partisan vote for Sanders? But if we don't elect him, Bernies will go to Trump as they did in 2016 in critical states because they either stayed home or voted third party which ended up giving the Trump the advantage.

I feel sorry for Biden. I wish his slide into old age wasn't so magnified for all the public see and remark on. It is actually painful to watch. He does good for a while, then it is like the air goes out of him. Plus he is sensitive and responds to insults badly.

Some moderates are seeing hope in Bloomberg. However, it is a risk with his past policy of "Stop and Frisk" in his time as mayor of NY.

We might actually end up with four more years of Trump against all logical sense. It is a shame on our nation and the sorry state of affairs we have.

@revelette3,
Mr. Trump will be our president until January 2025.

The Republicans will hold the White House until at least January 2037, if not even longer.

This is a good thing. Progressives are out to violate our civil liberties for fun.

Mr. Trump and the Republicans protect America from these progressives.
