Tens of millions of Iranians are grappling with the ravages of United States economic sanctions that have raised the price of food staples and led to shortages of medicines, including life-saving ones. But some token relief is heading their way.

The daily dose of Islamic propaganda. Iranians are suffering because of their government and the terror it promotes. No terror= no sanctions, it is up to them.

Trump Supporters Score Higher on Verbal Ability Tests
And they do better on most science knowledge questions, too.

Well that takes one of the big lies out. The dumb Trump supporter is not as dumb as the dumber Clinton supporter.
Quote:
On the verbal ability test (WORDSUM), not surprisingly the median number of vocabulary questions correct was the same for both Clinton and Trump supporters: 6 out of 10 words correct. The mean verbal ability score for Trump supporters was 6.15 words correct, while the mean verbal ability score for Clinton supporters was 5.69 correct, a difference of nearly a half a question on a 10-question test. This moderate difference is statistically significant at p<.0005.

Further,Trump supporters score significantly higher on verbal ability(6.15 correct) than the rest of the public combined (5.70 correct), whereas Clinton supporters score significantly lower on verbal ability (5.69 correct) than the rest of the public combined (5.98 correct).

This should not be too surprising. On the 22 General Social Surveys using the verbal ability scale since 1974, for every single one, conservative Republicans score significantly higher than the rest of the public combined. As for Republicans overall, they score significantly higher in verbal ability than Democrats in all five decades, including for the 2010s combined.

Watching the trial and I do not see Jerry Nadler. He must be in "time out" for upstaging Schiff last night. Laughing Laughing Laughing

"I worked with other senators to make sure that we have the right to ask for more documents and witnesses, but there is no need for more evidence to prove something that has already been proven and that does not meet the United States Constitution's high bar for an impeachable offense."
-- Lamar Alexander, senator from Tennessee

So he states that Trump's guilt is proven, but the crime doesn't rise to the level of an impeachable offense. It seems to me that maybe the court needs to determine what is impeachable.

@coluber2001,
How can someone be guilty of something that is not a crime?

Am I guilty of breathing in oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide?

The question of what is an impeachable offense is up to the senators who judge the case.

Read your Constitution, the courts do not decide what is impeachable, the Senate does. That Senator just told you it is not an impeachable offense. More whining does not change that fact.

If you had been following the day to day news, it was known that Congressman Nadler would be taking time off at some point in order to be with his wife. She has pancreatic cancer.

Congressman Nadler steps away temporarily

He still upstaged Schiff. If you were following the trial you saw it.

A wonderful description of your posts. The use of that word on display in the background shows what little, if any, respect you have for women.

@Sturgis,
The prankster has posted this on twitter with the opening line, 'Now that Katie Hopkins has been banned on twitter.....'

What I like is the difference in smiles, hers is the practiced one of someone receiving an award, but his is more of a smirk.

See women they don't agree with can all go to hell. They just pretend that they care.
