Hillary won the popular vote by a huge margin. Where she basically came up short was in three swing states basically because of the FBI report which turned out to be a bust. Before that, she was doing better than fine. The polls were starting to tighten up about then and in those swing states, Nate Silver was starting to talk about a possible Trump win. He took a lot of flack for that, but, turned out, he was right.

Considering I don't think Bernie had a chance at all once they started hammering him for his socialism and his past and the somewhat questionable activities of his wife, I feel I have as much right anyone else to talk about resisting Trump and I will continue to talk about it. I think it might take a decade to get out from underneath the stomping we got and some of it we caused ourselves (Reids nuclear option...) but I think, sooner or later, the dime is going to turn. This administration is heading for disaster and is going to take the world and our country with it.

The difference between the some Bernie or busters and Hillary supporter is one glaring one and it is one which I think makes all the difference in the world. Most of us would have voted Bernie and supported him wholeheartedly had he won the primary because the country is more important than hurt/pride feelings.

But that is all water under the bridge, we are now in Trump land and I hope all of us resist him and get over ourselves and think about what is most important.

Im afraid that this thread has devolved into childish cartoons and insults and every time theres a small chance for learning anything (newspaper clips etc), someone decides to assert something silly and it all spirals downhill.

I visit to read clips that blatham manages to cobble up. Ive got several of the participants on ignore just for my own comfort.

They receive class credit, plus a paycheck from George Soros.

Good faith can't be studied. Either you chose to debate in good faith, or you don't.

Don't know where you got that idea; I love the guy. But to hear people talking about him in 2020 just illustrates the current leadership vacuum in the Democratic Party.

The U.S. Treasury Department on Thursday eased sanctions on Russian intelligence agency FSB put in place by former President Barack Obama last year over accusations that Moscow launched cyber attacks to try to influence the U.S. presidential election.

The Treasury Department said in a statement it would allow U.S. companies to make limited transactions with the intelligence service that are needed to gain approval to import information technology products into Russia.

The broader significance of the sanctions exemptions was not immediately clear. The Treasury Department often issues general licenses such as the one announced on Thursday to help U.S. companies overcome unintended business consequences of sanctions.

U.S. intelligence agencies accused the FSB of involvement in hacking of Democratic organizations during the election, won by Republican Donald Trump.

The agencies and private cyber security experts concluded the FSB first broke into the Democratic National Committee's computer system in the summer of 2015 and began monitoring email and chat conversations.
