I think what Layboy really means is that, as a Frenchman, it's not my place to argue with an American.

@Olivier5,
the conservatives believe in freedom , as long as it agrees with their worldview. Otherwise, they have weapons and are not afraid to use em.

Mystery death of ex-KGB chief linked to MI6 spy's dossier on Donald Trump
By Robert Mendick and Robert Verkaik, The Telegraph
27 JANUARY 2017 • 9:30PM

An ex-KGB chief suspected of helping the former MI6 spy Christopher Steele to compile his dossier on Donald Trump may have been murdered by the Kremlin and his death covered up. it has been claimed.

Oleg Erovinkin, a former general in the KGB and its successor the FSB, was found dead in the back of his car in Moscow on Boxing Day in mysterious circumstances.

Erovinkin was a key aide to Igor Sechin, a former deputy prime minister and now head of Rosneft, the state-owned oil company, who is repeatedly named in the dossier.

Erovinkin has been described as a key liaison between Sechin and Russian president Vladimir Putin. Mr Steele writes in an intelligence report dated July 19, 2016, he has a source close to Sechin, who had disclosed alleged links between Mr Trump’s supporters and Moscow.

The death of Erovinkin has prompted speculation it is linked to Mr Steele’s explosive dossier, which was made public earlier this month.

It's my personal suspicion that the next terrorist attack will involve the kidnapping of president Trump, a brief period of informal incarceration and the removal of his hair/toupee/artifact-on-head.

If this happens, I will become a proud Iranian citizen

@farmerman,
The liberals beat conservatives with weapons last night for having opposing opinions. Establishment liberals and spoiled Berkeley students are pointing a fascist finger at Trump supporters and they have four more pointing back at them.

They are leading the fascist wave in this country now, although we should never stop watching Trump.

We're fucked, Bob.

Don't know where you got that idea; I love the guy. But to hear people talking about him in 2020 just illustrates the current leadership vacuum in the Democratic Party.

I wondered about this guy. Seems that Dr. Bornstein shouldn't be talking as he is.

Confidentiality or Public Disclosure: Trump’s Gastroenterologist and an Ethical Dilemma

Quote:
In prior elections, presidential candidates have largely been more forthcoming about their health. Even though the nominees in the current race retain the prerogative to keep health information out of the public eye (which, actually, reminds me of tax returns…), their physicians should still categorically refuse to release statements about their candidate’s health when the medical facts are intentionally misleading or outright false. Complying with such a request is a straightforward conflict of interest, readily comparable to a doctor who gets paid for publishing a favorable drug review in a good journal. Scoring a gig as the president’s gastroenterologist is just not worth endangering public trust in the profession.

I'm not impressed by the level of discourse here, on both sides of the equation. I don't see much logic, creativity or knowledge at play. I see a lot of tired clichés, baseless hatred, narrow-mindedness and parochialism. Should I act like I'm impressed? Should I pretend to agree? Should I just leave you to your misery?

You've brought NOTHING that I find creative or knowledgeable. You telling me to speak to my neighbor isn't cutting it.

This Milo guy is a flaming homosexual jew who talks about his black boyfriends.

How does the left attack him?

By calling him a homophobic, anti-semitic racist.

That's all they got--that's their "argument" against EVERYBODY.

Do I have to explain the concept of a public message board again Olivier?

Or maybe I should show you how to send a private message so you won't have to engage with people who disagree with you or your thoughts on what people need to do to be better people.

@McGentrix,
Quote:
I see this as just more propaganda from the left.

No need to get so defensive. There's a bigger issue. It's not about making Mr. Trump look bad. It has to do with the divisive nature of partisanship so that any tragic error done on one president's watch is hailed by his political opposition as proof of incompetence and treachery. Then their guy gets in, something awful happens and guess what — it's just "propaganda".

Look, the penchant that human beings have for killing each other is bad enough; magnifying it to an industrial level and masking it as "defense" doesn't really excuse the fact that war is horrible and the consequences unpredictable. We need to admit that foreign policy based on killing as many people as possible, also known as "war", is probably not the healthiest way of dealing with the incessant squabbling, feuding, and acts of revenge which characterizes our collective history. Given the limitations of the human imagination I don't expect we'll ever grow out of it. Pointing out the loss of innocent life or criticizing the planning and execution of military strikes gone wrong is to be expected — and encouraged. Show me one war that isn't ultimately a **** show.
