The fallout Monday from President Trump’s sweeping immigration order exposed painful rifts within the Republican Party, alarmed members of his Cabinet and fueled suspicions among his top advisers.

That left the defiant commander in chief stewing over who was to blame — capped by Trump’s remarkable decision late Monday to fire the acting attorney general because she refused to enforce the order as potentially unlawful.

For all the promises of Republican bonhomie, Trump and his aides kept GOP congressional leaders almost completely in the dark about the most consequential act of his young presidency: a temporary ban on refugees and on anyone from seven majority-Muslim nations.

Defense Secretary James Mattis and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly fumed privately to associates over the weekend because they had been caught unaware by a travel ban that was drafted and set into action largely in secret by the White House, according to three people who have spoken with them.

Inside the West Wing, tensions flared as differences in management style emerged between two factions: one led by chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon and senior policy adviser Stephen Miller, who wrote the immigration order, and the other composed of Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and his deputies, who are accustomed to operating with a more traditional chain of command.

Steve Bannon’s Long Love Affair With War
Steve Bannon, the National Security Council’s newest member, has long been obsessed with waging wars.
...“Steve is a strong militarist, he’s in love with war—it’s almost poetry to him,” Jones told The Daily Beast in an interview last year, well before Trump won the election and Bannon landed his new job. “He’s studied it down through the ages, from Greece, through Rome... every battle, every war… Never back down, never apologize, never show weakness… He lives in a world where it’s always high noon at the O.K. Corral.”

If Muslims killed 6 white Christians in a Church, Trump would be obsessed & half of America would change their profile pics to Canadian flag

We all understand the 100% certainty of this, I presume.
One of my favourite A2K'ers coined it already earlier:

Why do white liberals always threaten to move to Canada and not to a Country of Color? Mexico? Maybe even with those peaceful Muslims?

All of the 263 guest rooms and suites boast a £636 Samsung set, manufactured in Tijuana months after Trump attacked US firms for sending jobs to Mexico.

One guest at the bar said: “Trump launched his campaign labelling Mexicans rapists and killers. But he failed to mention he was delighted about their TV-making skills.

“The President has taken credit for stopping companies like Ford moving jobs to Mexico but when it comes to his businesses he doesn’t give a f*** – he’ll go wherever it is cheapest.”

Hypocrisy anyone?

To be fair, I've not seen Blatham launch any personal attacks. His imploring that users should be ignoring is not an attack.

He should have gone with Vizio or Sharp.

Do you think that when they are installing the hand dryers in the bathrooms at Microsoft that Gates is involved in picking the model and style?

Mensa rejects, find a new TV with a 'Made in USA' sticker - you cant, because the U.S. doesn't make TVs anymore.

@McGentrix,
IMHO, 'assembled in the US' is not the same a 'Made in the US'.
But it is nice to see the trend reversing, because the USA does know how to make quality electronics.

Trump may be able to further revive the 'Made in the USA' segment of the market.

@Frugal1,
I know, right? Foxconn is actually in talks with a local place to make monitors here. We had a great nano sight built for a Euro chip manufacturer but they backed out after a bit of a scandal. Foxconn would be huge for this area.

TRUMP MULLS EXPELLING UNEMPLOYED IMMIGRANTS

President Trump is considering an executive order targeting immigrants for deportation if they are dependent on government assistance, a draft document suggests.

The draft order obtained by The Associated Press calls for the identification and removal “as expeditiously as possible” of any foreigner who takes certain kinds of public welfare benefits.

Such immigrants have been barred from the US for the better part of a century and they can already be deported. The proposed order appears to signal a Trump administration effort to vigorously crack down on such welfare cases.
