Yoiu left out an adjective, DT is dismantling stupid/dysfunctional legislation. He is bringing industry and jobs back to America while his immmediate predecessor, Bork Obunga, was working to eliminate jobs, industry, and economic security in America.

The "war on coal" is gone. American steel production is back. American oil production is back.....

Bork Obunga actually was subsidizing Mexican oil operations in the gulf while simultaneously shutting down such activities by US companies.

The only way any of Bork's policies make sense at all is if you assume he had been put in office for the specific purpose of harming the United States.

Any idea how the costs compare?

@hightor,
Costs are less in Canada. The dirty secret of Government managed health care systems is that they ration care to sick and old people. That saves a lot of money and has a minimal effect on various statistics such as life expectancy. In the case of Canada one result is that Canadians who can afford it and who are unwilling to wait six or more months for access to a needed specialist, come in large numbers to the United States to get medical care.

The bureaucratization of other aspects of health care services inevitably lowers the standard of care and service for all other aspects of medical care, but as everyone is affected equally, this often gets less indignation and attention . ( A motto might be "we're fair here, we treat everyone badly").

I'm not sure, if they ration it here. But since it's a secret my ignorance could be self-explaining.
Old people - if not sick - aren't cared for by the health insurances here - we don't consider age to be an illness. But if someone needs long term care, we've got the compulsory Long Term Care insurance (Pflegeversicherung).

@georgeob1,
george, it's really not OK to make such claims without supporting evidence/citations. And by "not OK", I'm not saying this is a moral failing but rather a simple failing in making discussion valuable. If you have one person saying X is true and another saying X is false and they just continue to repeat their (empirical) claims without substantiation, any chance of learning is erased. My analogy here (perhaps previously voiced) is that you end up with two guys standing on either side of a creek pissing on each other and then arguing about which of them is wetter.

NJ Dems Propose Legislation To Potentially REMOVE Trump’s Name From 2020 Ballot

I tell you, they are geniuses. What makes them think Trump would win in NJ? They have to have something better to do.
Quote:
“Lawmakers in New Jersey have revived legislation intended to keep President Donald Trump’s name off the ballot in 2020. Democrats have targeted Trump with a proposal that “requires candidates for President and Vice-President of United States to disclose federal income tax returns to appear on ballot” and “prohibits Electoral College electors from voting for candidates who fail to file income tax returns.”

Again, this is an exercise in futility. Shouldn't they be governing their state?

Via Twitter, Jennifer Rubin points to something worth attending to in Virginia
Quote:
A Virginia Military Institute yearbook overseen by future state Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment in 1968 features a host of racist photos and slurs, including blackface.

The revelation about one of Virginia's most powerful Republicans comes as the state’s Democratic governor and attorney general are facing calls to resign over their own admissions they wore blackface as young men.

Norment, R-James City County, was managing editor of The Bomb publication that year. He went to VMI in Lexington after graduating from James Blair High School in Williamsburg and has been a state senator since 1992.

On one page of the yearbook, a student poses in blackface, surrounded by others in costumes at a party. Another page features a photo of two men in blackface holding a football.

The N-word is used at least once. A student listed as being from Bangkok, Thailand, is referred to as a “Chink” and “Jap.”

A blurb under one man’s picture says: "He was known as the 'Barracks Jew’ having his fingers in the finances of the entire Corps."

Via race baiters continue to demonize the white man. Divisive and hateful like usual. Also, more spam from someone who could care less about his own country. Not a source I would ever trust.

1) evil abortion! https://dailysign.al/2GvxT8I
2) murderous immigrant rapists! http://bit.ly/2Gxr2LV
3) socialists are pounding at the door! https://nyti.ms/2GtGNDL
4) investigation of a sitting President is HARASSMENT!

We could stand to have less violence in the US, why import more from people who are not legally allowed to come here. We can ship them to Canada, you can pay for them.

That's true, Bernie Sanders, AOC and a few others have all been elected and are pushing for a new Red Deal, I mean Green Deal... Socialism is on the rise in the US, a system that isn't compatible with our US Constitution.

Once again true. None of the indicments pushed so far have anything to do with the election, they are all for things either before the election, Manafort or after the election, Flynn. The DNC at this point is just trying to prevent any legislation being passed to the Senate.

This was never said or implied, but what Tucker said was true. There is a push against white males in this society, you can even see it here on this forum. We hear it all the time "Your a white male, your opinion doesn't matter." The DNC is filled with regressive racists.

Untrue, late term abortion is when it is NOT viable to live at all.

Seeking asylum is NOT illegal.

There are socialistic examples such as public schools, transportation and medical care that the U.S. has done. So i don't know what you're talking about.

White males are NOT the only ones in our society, they don't get to make all the laws any more.
