Actually, around $500 - $600 a month. But don't despair. Included for most people is a free Russian slum apartment where the water runs and the toilet flushes an average of 10 months of the year.

And since they don't have private homes, everyone but the top 2% lives in high rise apartments. That leads to some real creative living conditions for two months of the year.

You're right, I did that income conversion fr the average Russian a few years ago before Putin invaded Ukraine and crashed the ruble by more than 50%.
