Stupid-me thought, at least since the Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany (1990) we were independent (and besides the USA, there had been three other allies occupying Germany).

Obviously I was wrong.

Actually that ruling didn't "extend" it. They just said that's the way the law was set up from the get-go. Also that article doesn't really make it clear, but the decree allowed a maximum of 20 days. After that, the kids had to be shipped out to foster care, thereby "ripping the kids from their parents' arms." You can thank the left-wing ACLU for that little piece of "do-gooding," which has now been the law for over 20 years, eh?

Parties to the left and to the right of the liberals in Canada are pushing for the safe third country policy to no longer apply to the US. Looks like we'll be campaigning again in a few months. Election's in 2019 at the latest but the liberals may not have that much time.

Today on Fox News, Laura Ingram called the toddlers detention camps, summer camps. To add insult to stupidity, Ann Coulter claims the children heard crying are actually child actors and urged Trump not to fall for it. I suppose compassion is for suckers.
