I don't know why Iran shot those missiles. It didn't accomplish anything but give an excuse for Israel to bomb them.

Hope Trump is happy with himself.

McCain will probably go down in history as a hero for many reasons, but, going against his party and doing the right thing is among the greatest reason.

@georgeob1,
All people had to do was keep up with Nate Silver and they wouldn't have been so very surprised at the outcome of the 2016 election. He gave variables which if they happened, would mean Trump had a better chance of winning.

In any event, Trump still has 50% disapproval rating, 48% approval. That is on Rasmussen Reports which is always conservative friendly.

RCP

But yes, his approval rating has improved since it was down in the thirties.

@revelette1,
It was in response to Israel's killing of Iranian personnel in Syria.

Rudy Giuliani’s own law firm disputes a central claim of his Trump-Michael Cohen defense
Quote:
Rudy Giuliani is still speaking for President Trump, even as his week-old comments continue to come back to bite him and complicate things for his bosses.

It was announced Thursday that Giuliani is turning his leave of absence from the law firm Greenberg Traurig into a resignation. The stated reason was that Giuliani's duties as Trump's lawyer have monopolized his time. “This is a full-time job working for the president, and we’ve got to figure this out and get this over with,” Giuliani said.

He dismissed the idea that his uneven advocacy for Trump had alienated his employer, saying that “half the firm is for [Trump], maybe half against — fifty-fifty. It wasn’t about that.”

But at least one comment Giuliani made did seem to ruffle feathers at Greenberg Traurig: when he suggested that Michael Cohen's $130,000 hush money payment to Stormy Daniels was just business as usual. “That was money that was paid by his lawyer, the way I would do, out of his law firm funds,” Giuliani told Fox News on May 2. “Michael would take care of things like this like I take care of this with my clients. I don't burden them with every single thing that comes along. These are busy people.”

Turns out, Greenberg Traurig would rather not associate itself with such arrangements.

“We cannot speak for Mr. Giuliani with respect to what was intended by his remarks,” a spokeswoman, Jill Perry, told the New York Times. “Speaking for ourselves, we would not condone payments of the nature alleged to have been made or otherwise without the knowledge and direction of a client.”

In addition to suggesting Giuliani may have burned some bridges, the statement also undercuts the idea that this is a standard practice for reputable lawyers. Giuliani's own (now-former) employer is now openly disputing a central claim Giuliani made about the Cohen payment.

And it's merely the latest Giuliani comment from last week that has caused problems and been reeled back in:

@Blickers,
Yes, that very reporting, the Stormy issue is a non-issue except for the DNC who want to get even for Clinton being busted in the WH with his funky cigars. The MSM is out to get Trump, it wouldn't have mattered who beat Hillary in the election, the MSM would still be pulling these stories.

Did you hear, that North Korea released 3 US citizens it has been holding since Obama was in office? There are also peace talks set to take place in June between South/North Korea and the US. This was only possible because it was Trump, Obama didn't even come close to such an event.

What does Trump have do to make Obama look any worse? Obama could have done this, he choose not to.

Ho Ho, the Stormy interview brought in 24 Million viewers on a Sunday night. Next you'll be telling us the DNC sent 24 Million hirelings to hold a gun to the head of American TV viewers and force them to watch the Stormy Daniels interview on 60 Minutes.

You'll post anything your right wing sources tell you to post, won't you?

Porn is big business and people love it. To see a porn actress is unusual. That "jacked" the ratings, or at least one of the reasons. Do you actually think this makes people hate Trump anymore than they do? That is your Democratic base and the Democratic platform.

tRump only wants to hear about an ARMED person taking down another shooter. This guy is NOT the advertisement that the NRA needs plus he's the wrong color.

The Waffle House shooting hero hasn't heard from President Trump

Quote:
President Trump has yet to contact or publicly praise Waffle House hero James Shaw Jr.

"I haven't heard anything, but that's not to say he didn't try to contact me, or not," the 29-year-old admitted when asked by CNN's Van Jones on 'The Van Jones Show' if he had been contacted by President Trump, despite White House press secretary Sarah Sanders saying on Tuesday that the White House intended to invite him for a visit.
Shaw gained national recognition after he pried a rifle from a gunman who killed four people at a Waffle House in Tennessee. Hours later, Shaw launched a fundraiser to help the victims and their families, raising more than $225,000 as of Saturday afternoon.
Last week, Tennessee lawmakers officially recognized his heroism in a General Assembly joint resolution that praised his "brave actions."

Just so you know, I no longer differentiate between the "Dems" and the "DNC", they are one in the same. Of course they didn't, we live in a world where you make a sex tape and you become a house hold name, do the Kardashins ring a bell? I'm sure a majority of people tuned in to hear some salacious content and nothing more, people love to hear other people's dirty laundry, our modern news cycle is proof enough. Stormy Daniels is selling a story to make money and nothing more, what she is saying I'm sure is the truth, Trump has always been know to be a skirt chaser. This is only a story because she is a porn star, if she were a waitress, it wouldn't hold the same appeal to the masses. As far as I can tell, what he did a decade ago has no impact on his holding the office of President. This is nothing that will lead to impeachment, no matter how bad y'all try.

Sorry to tell you, these are my own thoughts. You always seem to conveniently forget that I'm not "right wing", I'm a Libertarian, and that's how I vote, the social issue for the most part mean nothing to me. I don't watch or listen to what you think I do. It's the easy out for you, keeps you from having to actually have a conversation on the issues.

Weren't you the one a few months ago after all the awards shows who tried to play off the influence of Hollywood and the MSM on current political events?
