Georgeob, what's wrong with you??? Are you 12 years old?

It can be dangerous to try to upstage your boss by going him one better, eh? Blather said 13, and you've now reduced it to 12. If you want to stay in his good graces, which you obviously do, best just parrot him and keep it at 13, eh, Bag?

@glitterbag,
A survey of opinion in 134 countries showed a record collapse in approval for the US role in the world, from 48% under Obama to 30% after one year of Donald Trump – the lowest level Gallup has recorded since beginning its global leadership poll over a decade ago.

That poll showed that Trump has averaged just a 39% approval rating since his inauguration. The previous low was held by Bill Clinton, whose first-year average was 10 points higher than Trump’s, at 49%.

@Walter Hinteler,
You act like that's a bad thing, eh, Walt?

Newflash: When some foreign country "approves of" your president, it aint because of what he does for his country. It's because he caters to THEIR country.

Iran and Syria "strongly approve" of Putin, for example.

Obama's "world apology" tour gained the "approval" of foreigners too, mainly because they knew they were seein a chump who could easily be played to their advantage.

On the other hand, some shithole country like Pakistan no longer approves of the the U.S. once Trump cuts off all aid to the lyin, blood-suckin, bin ladin harboring bastards. Whooda thunk, I ax ya?

@Walter Hinteler,
Walter, where is the uproar about the continually dismal "approval" rating of Congress as an entity in the US of A? It's currently at 16% nationally, and hovers around that mark ad nauseum.

@Walter Hinteler,
Again you miss the point, Walter.

Congress makes the decisions in US policy, and they've struggled to top 24% popularity in a long time now.

Why isn't that a major part of this discussion?

To see the decision-makers of the nation hovering around the 80% disapproval rate should be ringing alarm bells all over the place.

Why isn't that happening? Are they immune somehow, from public scrutiny?

You were trying to insinuate the the poll Builda was citing was so ancient as to have been completely forgotten, and could in no way be indicative of the current state of affairs.

It's the latest data I could find, but historically accurate for every year for last ten. Try and prove otherwise. The president might have signing rights, but bills that enact law are the job of the congress, and historically they don't have a good track record with the people of the nation.

Why aren't they under attack from the MSM, the opposition, and the people like your good self, Walter?

They are, in effect, ruling your life. The prez, per se, is not.

And yet people seem to seek a single scapegoat for their woes.
