Just what do you think edifice means? So that's two examples, Hot Shot. By the way, clown, I'm a native of New York City. I neither know nor care where you came up with that "Canuck'" bullsh*t, but it just serves to demonstrate once again what a bigot you are.

Have you got any comment to make which is relevant to the topic? No, I didn't think so.

Breaking News.
A magnitude 3.4 earthquake has been detected in North Korea, China's earthquake administration says.
The earthquake is reported to have occurred near a nuclear test site and previous quakes have occurred during weapons' tests.
Chinese seismologists said it was a "suspected explosion", the state news agency reports.
But South Korea says that it could be a natural earthquake, rather than one caused by a nuclear test.

With regard to Izzy's post--President Plump surely has kissed Saudi ass. What's more telling is that the September 11th attackers included 15 Saudis, but Saudi Arabia is not on Plump's list. What a loser.

Well, I still think he's motivated to a not insignificant degree by a healthy hatred of Trump, and desire for revenge. But he does deserve kudos for doing the right thing when it isn't the popular thing.

It's so characteristically small to attempt to use someone's nationality to censure them on an international board. How embarrassing for you.

Are you incapable of making a better argument?

@snood,
People generally don't have a go at me because I'm English. Builder's another one of these 'anti Trump' types who spends all his time attacking Clinton and anyone else who doesn't swallow his conspiracy theory horseshit.

There's a pattern they all follow, arrogance and downright rudeness towards everyone who refuses to believe their nonsense. In this respect Builder is no different from JTT, Cameronleon or Gungasnake.

@blatham,
Fox News has been attacking Jimmy Kimmel for his criticisms of the the GOP repeal bill through describing him as merely a celebrity who's "unqualified" to speak about politics. Media Matters captures some of the people Fox has had on specifically to speak about healthcare and politics, including:
Tim Allen
Churck Norris
Ted Nugent
Fabio
Stephen Baldwin
Scott Baio
Gene Simmons
Kurt Schilling
Johnny Damon
Steven Segal
Wayne Newton
Jon Voigt
Victoria Jackson

@snood,
I am not sure what motivates him, I kind of doubt is it simple revenge, I mean he is pretty sick, maybe even fatal, so I doubt he would be petty right at the end of his legacy of years as Senator. In any case, I am glad, this last bill of the GOP is the worst of the lot that they have come up with. I think they are just throwing stuff out there and not serious about it. I wish they would get serious about just fixing what is wrong with our present health care in bipartisan manner. I think that would have a lot of support from all sides.

@revelette1,
I didn't say revenge was his only motivation, just that it could very well be one of them. I think he proved he could be spiteful by the way he reacted to Obama after losing to him.
Again, I think he deserves credit for being against the horrible healthcare bill.

An internal investigation has been opened into Health Secretary Tom Price over his private plane travel on official government business.
A spokesman for the agency's inspector general told the BBC "we take this matter very seriously". The probe follows a demand from Democrats.
Mr Price's spokesperson has defended his use of charter planes, saying they are necessary for "official business".
It comes amid an inquiry into another Trump official's mode of air travel.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin - a former Goldman Sachs banker - is already under investigation by his agency's own inspector general.
The watchdog is seeking to determine whether Mr Mnuchin improperly used a US government jet to view the solar eclipse with his wife last month.
An investigation by Politico found this week that Mr Price, a former Georgia congressman, had taken 24 flights on private chartered planes since May, at a cost to taxpayers of around $300,000 (£220,000).
Government officials, with the exception of those dealing directly with national security matters, are required to take commercial flights for work-related travel.
Tesia D Williams, a spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) inspector general's office, told the BBC on Friday their review "focuses on whether the travel complied with Federal Travel Regulations, but may encompass other issues related to the travel".
"We take this matter very seriously, and when questions arose about potentially inappropriate travel, we immediately began assessing the issue."
Politico, a Washington DC political news outlet, documented one flight taken by Mr Price from Philadelphia to Washington, which cost about $25,000 - a trip that would typically cost around $300 to fly commercial.
Late on Wednesday, five Democratic lawmakers wrote to the inspector general of Mr Price's agency, demanding an inquiry into his use of luxury private jets, several of which included leather chairs, a kitchen and wi-fi internet.
"American taxpayers deserve assurances that their tax dollars are not wasted by the government's highest officials," the lawmakers wrote.
Charmaine Yoest, a spokesperson for HHS, defended the cabinet secretary's flights, saying they were needed "in order to accommodate his demanding schedule".
"Some believe the HHS Secretary should be Washington-focused. Dr Price is focused on hearing from Americans across the country," she said in a statement.
She later told the Washington Post: "This is Secretary Price, getting outside of DC, making sure he is connected with the real American people."
Mr Price, an orthopaedic physician, has been tasked by US President Donald Trump with directing the Republican plan to repeal Obamacare.
In June, Mr Price attended a physicians' conference where he vowed to end wasteful government spending.
The private plane which he took to that event, the first stop on a five-state tour, cost $50,420, according to Politico.

@snood,
I remember.

I also know he is a true conservative which is why these last two moves of his with the health care repeal bill is really surprising me. I just thought perhaps he didn't want one of his last votes (if he doesn't really recover)to be with a truly horrible bill knocking off millions off health care coverage.

he is a conservative and old-school Republican

I think he is voting the way a true conservative and true Republican would.

He's also a bipartisan guy from the old days - he knows more can be done for the country when politicians work together. Disagreeing just to disagree isn't good for the country/citizens. The current approach in Washington isn't working for the United States. Mr. McCain seems to knows that.

McCain's Motivations
1. He has more hatred for Trump than most. ("I prefer soldiers who weren't caught.")
2. McCain loves his rogue, maverick status. He'd do anything to **** with Trump, and right now, he's reveling in his ability to do it.
3. I think he's legacy-voting. Legacy starts pretty soon.

@Walter Hinteler,
Is that American football? I honestly don't know anything about it, the game, the teams or the fan base. I don't know how committed the fans are to the teams. I do know that any politician calling for a boycott of the premiership would be ignored, if not voted out in the next election.
