Yeah, we agree on that George, and I think we both (and others here) have seen it coming for awhile.
I'm not sure we agree on another thing, though. I've been saying that I thought Trump would prevail (more or less) in his battle with the press, given time. As I recall you didn't really agree with that.
But I think signs of that are getting clearer, too, indicated by such things as that one of his most vociferous antagonists (CNN) just fired a senior editor and 2 reporters for their "fake news" reports. I made a post about that a page or two back if you haven't otherwise seen it.
They have been satisfied, like the front-runners they are, with "leading" the race at the quarter turn, but this "race" aint over and they're gunna fade, I figure. Maybe badly, to the point where they decide to just quit the race due to "exhaustion."
As the de facto DNC, the MSM is suffering from the russian narrative fallout too--in terms of lost credibility, at least. The recent Supreme Court ruling (among other things) hurts their sanctimonious "moral cause," too.
I'm not trying to pretend that I foresaw all of this. It was a "calculated risk" for Trump to oppose and challenge the press so adamantly and so often. But it looks to me now that it was a risk that will pay off. He just wouldn't have survived if he had remained utterly passive.
