Here's Caitlyn Jenner's best effort at making the political discourse more civil:

Jenner On GOP Baseball Shooting: ‘Liberals Can’t Even Shoot Straight’
College Republican crowd goes wild in response.
A crowd at the convention of the College Republican National Committee erupted in laughter and applause when featured speaker Caitlyn Jenner joked Friday about the attack on a group of GOP lawmakers, saying: “Liberals can’t even shoot straight.”

The comment was captured on videotape posted by a College Republican group in Virginia on its Facebook page. Jenner made the disturbing joke when she was asked by a moderator at the Washington dinner about the shooting Wednesday in Virginia at a baseball practice that critically wounded House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) and injured several others.

@Blickers,
A diplomatic package has been taken which , if true, is quite a big deal, but North Korea is not like any other country.

@izzythepush,
I got that, but there weren't any details, such when it happened, how it happened, the circumstances, anything said by anybody. It's about the sketchiest report I ever read.

Lemme ask you folks something...
Does it give you any pause at all that the man we are basically dependent upon to keep us out of a nuclear conflict is so impulsive that he absolutely must answer any slight - real or imagined - immediately? What is your level of confidence in the judgement of this man?

What the LaRouche organization and people like Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity et. al have in common is that they are all basically patriotic, which is why we see the otherwise strange spectacle of them all lining up in support of Donald Trump.

Likewise, the people opposing Trump at this point are not doing so because Trump is to the left or the right of their position on any particular issue; they are doing so because they are a bunch of unpatriotic assholes.

I have great confidence in the man. I'm sure he will nuke N. Korea off the face of the map quite soon.

Eleven Ways Trump Supporters Have Been Duped:

1. He called Hillary Clinton a crook. You bought it. He then promptly paid $25 million to settle a fraud lawsuit.

2. He said over and over he’d release his tax returns, eventually. You bought it. He hasn’t, and says he never will.

3. He promised he’d divest himself from his financial empire, to avoid any conflicts of interest. You bought it. He is still heavily involved in his businesses, manipulates the stock market on a daily basis, and has more conflicts of interest than can even be counted.

4. He said Clinton was in the pockets of Goldman Sachs, and would do whatever they said. You bought it. He then proceeded to put half a dozen Goldman Sachs executives in positions of power in his administration.

5. He said he’d surround himself with all the best and smartest people. You bought it. He nominated theocratic loon Mike Pence for Vice President. A white supremacist named Steve Bannon is his most trusted confidant. Dr. Ben Carson, the world’s greatest idiot savant brain surgeon, is in charge of HUD. Russian quisling Rex Tillerson is Secretary of State.”

6. He said he’d be his own man, beholden to no one. You bought it. He then appointed Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education, whose only “qualifications” were the massive amounts of cash she donated to his campaign.

7. He said he would “drain the swamp” of Washington insiders. You bought it. He then admitted that was just a corny slogan he said to fire up the rubes during the rallies, and that he didn’t mean it.

8. He said he knew more about strategy and terrorism than the Generals did. You bought it. He promptly gave the green light to a disastrous raid in Yemen- even though all his Generals said it would be a terrible idea. This raid resulted in the deaths of a Navy SEAL, an 8-year old American girl, and numerous civilians. The actual target of the raid escaped, and no useful intel was gained.

9. He said Hillary Clinton couldn’t be counted on in times of crisis. You bought it. He didn’t even bother overseeing that raid in Yemen; and instead spent the time hate-tweeting the New York Times, and sleeping.

10. He called CNN, the Washington Post and the New York Times “fake news” and said they were his enemy. You bought it. He now gets all his information from Breitbart, Gateway Pundit, and InfoWars.

11. He called Barack Obama “the vacationer-in-Chief” and accused him of playing more rounds of golf than Tiger Woods. He promised to never be the kind of president who took cushy vacations on the taxpayer’s dime, not when there was so much important work to be done. You bought it. He took his first vacation after 11 days in office. On the taxpayer’s dime. And went golfing.”

@Blickers,
That's probably all there is, America hasn't confirmed or denied anything, all there is is an NK press release. Would you rather have a load of idle speculation?

Dogfights over Syria! Cool!

Quote:
US forces shoot down Syrian jet for the first time

A US warplane shot down a Syrian military aircraft on Sunday after it dropped bombs near US-backed fighters in Syria, the US military said.

Washington is leading an alliance in the fight against Islamic State in Syria

About the only homey ISIS had left was Iran. The back-stabbing, throat-slashing savages couldn't refrain from attacking Iran too.

Quote:
Iran launches strikes against ISIS in Syria

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran's Revolutionary Guard said Sunday it launched missiles into eastern Syria targeting Islamic State (ISIS) militants in response to an attack on Iran's parliament and a shrine in Tehran, warning that it would similarly retaliate on anyone else carrying out attacks in Iran.

The launch of surface-to-surface medium range missiles into Syria's Deir el-Zour province comes as ISIS militants fleeing a U.S.-led coalition onslaught increasingly try to fortify their positions there.

Sunday's assault marked an extremely rare direct attack from the Islamic Republic amid its support for embattled Syrian President Bashar Assad

The Guard warned ISIS militants and their "regional and international supporters" that similar retaliatory attacks would target them as well if another assault in Iran occurs.

Right now, fresh off their viewing of Julius Trump, cheese-eaters are asking: et tu, Iran!?

Who knew that playing a game of golf on the week-end was a "vacation," eh? Lotta homeboys on permanent vacation, if that's what it is.

We're headed for a nuclear war regardless. If we're lucky it'll be with North Korea alone, and will be before North Korea develops missiles that can reach mainland US.
