@layman,
I don't know if Londoners accept a "hands off" approach to policing, and I doubt you do either.

Universally contrarian posts is, to my mind, picking a fight.

know what I mean?

You're probably right though; this doesn't seem like a big deal.

Another example of our government over-classifying documents, I think. People have been complaining about that under Bush, Obama, and I doubt Trump changes course.

Finn has given you the brush off, layman, because he has been, of late, trying to polish his image and you are the type of riff raff that Finn ain't gonna be inviting to dinner no more.

@maporsche,
It is a big deal.

Whether or not the document was over classified is not a question any citizen gets to decide.

Bullshit. I like layman and generally agree with what he posts.

Your "image" is one that just about everyone is this forum detests.

She was hired in February...what are you disputing?

Also, she's treasonous for disclosing classified info that benefits bad actor nations...her co- defendant is the press (which will hide behind the 1st amendment)

She should have never had a TS SCI in the first place, that much is certain.

Not really. I don't see how my failure to agree with something a person says is "contrarian," let alone "universally" so.

If I have a position on some issue, I'm generally willing to defend and debate it, if it's challenged. Likewise, if I agree with someone's claims, I will often express that also (as I have with many of your posts).

I somehow got the impression that this was one purpose of threads such as this. If you think it's best to stifle disagreement and just tacitly "accept" claims that you don't believe in, fair enough. But just because I don't happen to share that trait doesn't mean I'm "picking a fight" or being "universally contrarian." Not to me, anyway.

But I do know that I've seen a lot of complaints published by Limeys about the official position on these things. Maybe they weren't from London, though.

Do you know how many people have "top clearance?" This is one of the problems

Of course it's not treasonous to have views of any sort, but acting on them and divulging classified information certainly can be.

Good to see that you agree that she should be punished, but I guarantee that there will be no shortage of leftists arguing she was a patriot.

Isn't that kind of diversion a kind of a microcosm of what Democrats are doing? I mean, as near as I can tell, you have this long list of gigantic Democrat crimes which nobody can get the mainstream media to say the first word about and, somehow or other, Democrats managed to concoct a vicious phony narrative about Russians determining the outcome of a US presidential election and then they somehow or other managed to have the phony narrative investigated by a special Inquisition.

How much longer do you actually think the American people are going to tolerate this kind of ****?

That image would largely be an image illustrating the US as not at all what it is normally portrayed as.

I don't find it surprising that people detest being exposed to that image. I know it isn't fun but, as they say, Reality bites.

What I find so shocking is how diligently so many of you avoid these realities.

I just stated an absolute truth - that the US/UK has caused all these world wide problems and you avoided it like the proverbial plague. How delusional is that?

For some reason, God only knows what, but some damn reason, this tale makes me think of Londoners:

Quote:
Last year, a 40-year-old former Army major adopted the 1.2-ton creature [hippopotamus] when it was just 5 months old, after the animal was rescued from a flood. "Humphrey's like a son to me, he's just like a human," he said.

There's a relationship between me and Humphrey and that's what some people don't understand."

http://theweek.com/articles/471853/6-terrifying-instances-pets-eating-owners

Oh, wait, that aint the end of the tale. It seems that Humphrey didn't quite "understand" the relationship either. He killed his benefactor and ate him alive.

Quote:
Experts have since noted that hippos are actually the most dangerous animals in Africa, killing more people each year than lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos combined.
