Hello. My name is Jacob, and I have a few questions. On Friday morning, I was working out and trying to do handstands in my garage on a mat. I fell uncontrollably and hit my rips on a pole on a leg lift machine. I hit my back on the left side. I didn't feel hurt or anything on that day. The next day, Saturday, I felt super sore and it was hard to run and I had a slight difficulty breathing. On Sunday, yesterday, I felt sick. Towards the end of the day, I started feeling worse and my ribs and chest were hurting more. At around six or so, I took my temperature and I was about 104. I took some ibeprofin (or however you spell it) and went to bed around 8:30. This morning, I felt pretty bad and I took my temperature once more. It was about 101.5-102. So, I didn't go to school (I am 12). I have a headache, I have a bit of a shortness of breath, and my chest hurts (around the area of my heart). What should I do? I feel better right now because I took some ibeprofin and my temperature is pretty much normal. Please tell me if it is just the common cold, or if it is something worse and I should tell my parents to take me to the doctor or something. Thanks!
@Dogg705,
tell your parents what happened and how you feel -- do it asap.
asking a bunch of strangers on the internet for medical advice is a really bad idea...
@Dogg705,
Talk to your parents right away and do not take any medicin without asking a grown up.
How could you stay home from school without your parents noticing?
