How often does the average married couple have sex?

All I can say is Phewww! Thank god that thread wasn't lost in the wind.

1st wife: about 10 times a week before marriage
20 times a week first couple of months
5-10 times a week before birth of first child
3-4 times a week after birth of first child
once or twice a week after birth of second child
twice a month, then once a month, in the year before separation and divorce.

2nd wife. Will not say. Still married to her.
(But, much to her dismay, it was never 20 times a week).

My wife and I have been married 8 years, we have 2 kids, 3&1. I believe I have a normal sex drive, she has very low. I am getting very frustrated with this situation. We do it once a week on average.

NEVER actually I think it is overrated..

married 21 years, have 2 kids and one due soon and we still act a little crazy for our ages 36 and 37.

Sex is usually 4-7 times a week, unless he is deployed, or on some military training mission... he was in iraq for 13 months recently so for 13 months there was nothing going on

We just keep it interesting is all... like just recently we bought a new SUV and of course had to break it in...

So you got married at age 15, is that legal anywhere in the civilised world?

Its exactly the same way in my marriage..... I enjoy starbucks more than I enjoy sex most days....He wants it every day and I would be happy with once a month or every other month..........I feel ya sister........ unfortunately I give it to him cuz I know if I don't someone will...

My wife is smart!!! Before marriage it was twice a day, it felt like anyway. Didn't get any on honeymoon . Was happy for first 5 yrs, then THE DRY SPELL!!! We had kids and I remember counting the times on one hand for 1 YEAR!! It was tough. Now after 12 yrs I'm not the asshole I used to be. Drink a little less , party with friends once a year, and now I'm getting it 1-2 times a week. 1-2 times a week now feels like all the time! It's great. Now if I can just keep it up for the whole time .

The couple over the road from me managed it at least twice last night, and I think they managed a third, but can't confirm this, as my ladder slipped sideways off their wall at the crucial moment.
