Edit [Moderator]: Moved from Reference to Other Languages.

Could someone translate the phrase, "Look to the sky" into latin. I'm looking to get this as a tattoo, and I want to make sure I have the correct translation.

Aha! You're sandbagging...you're right, so pick one.

Aspicio caelum

or

Specto caelum

Like I said, I'm a Latin hack

I think I would use the word aspicio, since it means to look upon, or gaze...
what do you think?
are the endings correct? That's what I'm not sure how to do... it's been a while since I took latin.

I want it to be like in 2nd person, like, (you) look to the sky... my principle behind this is when I look at my feet, they are telling me to look to the sky, keep my head up, sort of thing. So should it be in first person, or second?

Thanks for the help

I agree about aspicio...but I believe the tense is wrong. It would mean "I gaze at the sky"
Say, that has a nice ring to it. I like it!

I decided aspicia caelum means look to the sky. I'll keep working on it.
